Kasr al Assil

We came here for lunch and the atmosphere here was very welcoming and calm. Traditional music was playing which was just right for the location. The owner was friendly and helped us with menu as it was in French. Meatballs/chicken Tagine, Trio and sautéed vegetables, seasoned rice all tasted good. As a tourist we enjoyed this place very much.

The best ever in Maroc, you should try it if you visit Rabat. It's like they cook it with love. good job for the chef and for all the stuff.

Excellent authentic Moroccan cuisine! The pastilla was absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Every dish was full of authentic flavors, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a true Moroccan dining experience!

We found this place by accident whilst looking for something to eat around Rabat. And I gotta say I'm very happy with the new discovery. Traditional high quality Moroccan food at incredible price. The staff was extra nice and I can't recommend the dish I had enough. It is this pastry "pie" filled with chicken and almonds and spices. It is delicious.

Joyful experience ☺️ the location is outside the caothic and turistic routes and the restaurant is nicely furnished and colorful. We tried some typical moroccan dishes, everything was super tasty and abundant. Unfortunately we don't know the name of the young guy who welcomed us, but he was super friendly. Grazie mille! Cuscus only on Friday, cash only. One tip: please include a proper meal also for vegetarians, besides starters.
