Myself and my fiancée stayed here for 5 nights recently. We loved the hotel, it’s beautifully designed. The beds are very comfy and spacious. The bars and restaurants were great. Aircon worked amazing considering it was 44 degrees! The only downside was that they allowed smoking by the pool and considering it’s signed “no smoking by the pool” with signs next to the sun loungers this was disappointing. As none smokers this did spoil it for us. Especially considering there’s smoking areas in the bar area next to the pool. I also found some of the staff to be a little slow with service however this wouldn’t put me off coming back and I highly recommend this hotel! 10/10
Massages by Noura and Siham were amazing! They were so nice and professional. The women helped us the moment we stepped in the door and to the gracious goodbyes at the end. Would recommend to anyone. The jacuzzi prior to the massages was a great way to loosen up and relax.
Enjoyed our stay at hotel Sahrai. Siham, Warda, Samira, Fadwa and Adnan made our stay very comfortable. The view of Fes from the restaurants and pool are spectacular! The Breakfast was great as well. We highly recommend staying at Hotel Sahrai!
The good - Grogeous rooms and if you get one with a view it's even better. Service by certain staff members was good, housekeeping was great. Mezze at the jungle were delicious. The bad - Lots of miscommunication between management and staff. Service from certain members of the staff/managers wasn't at the level it should be. The ugly - Pool is freezing and the pictures of the pool area are deceiving. There is a big hedge in front of the pool thereby eliminating all view from there. Our main courses at the restaurants were very bad. The skewers at Jungle were inedible and the mains at the french restaurant weren't good either. Location itself isn't too bad as the commute to the old town is cheap via taxi (don't pay for their overpriced shuttle), but, everything around the hotel is really bad with dug up roads and lots of construction with nothing to do. There is a front desk manager with glasses I can't recall his name but he needs to be replaced with someone more competent and courteous. All in all, wouldn't recommend at the price point.
I’ve never had a bad service at a five star hotel like this before in my life… 1) We faced an issue with the internet when we arrived, we called three times for them to send someone to solve it. 2) I think room service is understaffed; the person taking my order was rude to me and yelled to quickly place an order since I was confused because the order I wanted was unavailable. 3) We placed laundry requests, but we had to wait between 20-30 minutes for them every time. 4) No one welcomed us at the rooftop and helped us with the seating, or checked on us to place an order. And I had to wait A VERY LONG TIME for someone to bring the menu, check on us, and ask for our order :) I had to go inside to ask for someone to help. 5) The area on the way to the resort and the roads are not developed yet; the location is still under construction, and it would be better in the future. /// - The room and hotel interior are fabulous. - The cleaners are sweet. - The DJ guy is kind, and he was the only best thing that uplifted my mood :) - The views are amazing.
Beautiful place with beautiful rooms and amazing people! The hospitality here has been unmatched. 100% would recommend this place to everyone! If you get the chance definitely come here. The managers Omar, Yasine, Ahmed and Omaima have been amazing! I feel so at home here. They also offer a wonderful Hammam massage. Rajae was so friendly and professional. My masseuse Noura was amazing. One of the best massages I've ever had. Definitely would recommend. A great and relaxing experience. A must if you're in Fes.
This place was incredibly difficult to find and it is surrounded by dusty construction, away from the center of town. From the outside, it looked more like a 3 star hotel. The hotel restaurant also needs improvement. The bread was cold and stale. The cocktails were super watered down and the wines were overpriced. The entrees were nothing special. Given the price of this place in Morocco, a lot more work needs to be done to bring the quality up to international standards.
I really wanted to give Hotel Sahrai 5 stars but several factors were too disappointing. First I will say that it is a gorgeous property with large, comfortable rooms (best sleeps in Morocco), beautiful bathrooms with shower and tub and lovely amenities in room and at the pool. Breakfast was delicious and most variety available in one place on our trip. The parking was free and most of the hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. Food at the restaurant was good overall if not outstanding and drinks acceptable given that alcohol is hard to find in Fes/Morocco. However there was an issue with our billing that they said was resolved but I still have an erroneous charge on my cc bill a couple weeks later. Also the receptionist/concierge (I believe they fulfilled the same roles?) was slightly standoffish and unhelpful - this may be due to poor English however, for example when requesting a standard amenity (hair dryer) he said it was coming, then called back saying it would be 15 minutes until one was available and then it never came...for a 4 star hotel this is quite sad. Also was unable to explain to taxi driver where we wanted to go when we asked to go to the Medina near the tanneries (one of the most popular tourist sites) and one of the porters had to come over and help us explain...would expect better service for the price. Overall though we enjoyed our stay as a comfortable and quiet escape from the medinas, just expected more for the money
