Perfect!! They communicated frequently via email right after booking, which gave me peace of mind. I requested a car pick-up from Fes station (€7), and even though it was late, the guesthouse owner (Muhammad) came to meet me at the parking lot, so I arrived without getting lost. Muhammad is very kind and happy to help with anything. He also gave me a lecture on walking around the city, which was very helpful. The location is convenient. You can walk to both the Old Medina and the New Medina. The room is stylish, and the bathroom and bedroom are separate with an open atrium, which makes you feel elegant. There is a hairdryer. The air conditioning works well. There is a terrace on the rooftop, which I think would be perfect for both breakfast and dinner in warmer seasons. The welcome drink and cookies were quite delicious, so I ordered tagine, soup, and salad for dinner there as well. The portions are large, so you might want to share the soup and salad between two people. (The kefta tagine, soup, salad, and a bottle of wine for two people came to about 9,000 yen in total.) The atmosphere, design, service, and food were all excellent, and I highly recommend it.
Top riad. Unfortunately, we were only there for two nights. Large, comfortable rooms. Fantastic rooftop terrace with a superb view. Very good breakfast. Lots of information from the owners. Inexpensive taxi to the airport.
A pleasant stay in this riad in the heart of the Fes medina. A very beautiful place.
Really great Riad. They arranged a driver for us to pick us up and met us at the entrance to the Médina when we arrived. Even made dinner for us at 11:30pm when our flight was delayed. I would guess only 4-6 rooms but each one very large. Makes you feel like you have the place to yourself. Nice rooftop deck as well! Simon and the owner are great and speak English very well. Good AC in the room. I would highly suggest you also ask them to plan a tour of the city for you as well (I assume they have recommendations for a guide!). We went with a separate highly rated trip advisor tour company and 95% of the tour was taking us to places to get a sales pitch for a rug, antiques + asking us to give them 5* review about 20 or more times. Humm...wonder how they got all those reviews? Anyway - I digress. Stay here - you will be happy you did.
Beautiful riad - really well kept and the staff is super helpful with details directions on how to navigate the maze like medina. The dinner is one of the best I ve eaten in Fes. Great location to be in as well. And close enough to the public carpark for those who drive as well as the taxi drop off and pick up points at the place rcif. Shower is super strong and hot - always an important thing for weary travellers
