La Tour Hassan Palace

Just like many hotels in the city there was no Air conditioning and that has made the stay unpleasant. This was a 5 star hotel so I did expect AC to be available. The hotel is pretty but not 5 stars, the hotel staff were wonderful.

A Morrocan style hotel with nice views overlooking the pool and the garden. Great location in the center ville with few minutes walking to the beach. It has 5 restaurants. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The room rated a 3 because the air conditioner did not work and the staff could not correct the problem. It was unbearably hot.

I was visiting the area and stopped to check it. I’ve been in jazz bar. From the moment you step in, you'll be greeted by a warm ambiance that sets the mood for a memorable afternoon. The service is impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring your every need is met It was an amazing bar/lounge. I loved it and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We choose a garden room as both soundproofing and blackout was included in the description. The bad: Unfortunately this is just not true, here is no noise isolation whatsoever, the window is made of one pane and the blackout curtains were holey. Then to make our stay better they started drilling during the day and the drilling was directly above, it reached 90-100 decibels (recording available). The hammering started midmorning, and continued till late afternoon. I had to complain several times to get it to stop. Not once did they apologize. No mention of construction work was made anywhere during booking, otherwise we wouldn't have stayed here. Housekeeping mentioned that there was renovation ongoing, so they clearly knew about it. The ugly: the window in our room can't be locked. Its a sliding window. So much for security. You might want to check your windows if you check in here, specially if you are in the lower floors. To top it all the concierge couldn't care less or be bothered: the lady on the phone, judging by her tone, said something rude to me in her language. Fortunately I didn't understand her. I am astonished that anyone gives this place 5 stars, the lack of good service or any kind of consideration is staggering. The good: lovely public areas, they look much better than the rooms do. There is a coffee machine in the room: you really need it after the noisy nights.

If you visiting Rabat , this is the place you want to stay . Edil the Chief Concierge was very welcoming and helped us from our arrival to our departure. Every person showed genuine attention to service . Love the Moroccan restaurant and their live traditional music. Their staff made our stay memorable. I would definitely return on another occasion. I stayed for a little over two weeks. The front desk and housekeepingg staff was overall very friendly and personable and treated you like they knew you. They also inquired how things were and went all out to make you comfortable. The food at the restaurant was good but I usually had to wait. I was there for business and things were a bit time sensitive. Loved staying there!
