Friendly staff, average breakfast (especially in an orange-producing country), the hotel desperately needs a renovation; the two stars it's given are what it deserves, especially at this price! The pool is nice, but the tiles are falling apart! Only one bath towel for two people, no bath mat, no shower gel, only men's shampoo – women don't wash their hair!
Bad experience. A disaster on all levels.
The entire establishment is in very poor condition.
Personal drunk and smoking hash. When the management is not around At 22.30u loud music starts And there are almost no guest !!!! Who cares for the few guests who want to sleep Nice view over the Atlantic, but not a nice places to stay. Totally no interest in there guests. Complete downer this place.
I’m originally from this city!!! I would like to advice all people who want to take this hotel “Inn” to think that you are supporting a prejudice people against religion “except if u are french you won’t care” I’m not being prejudice towards French but this rules were put by French government. You can go to top countries in the world Canada, US Las Vegas , Uk, Australia... and u can still swim with burkini except this hotel that cleans the sheets once a year.
They literally said we can't find a room for you 'cause the hotel was overbooked although we had a booking reservation. If you saw this review please just ruuun !!
Completely drunk owner of the hotel almost tried to fight me while I was figuring out WiFi with the reception. He said I brought the towel from my room to the pool and needed to take it back to my room immediately. While at the reception a poorly dressed man who reeked of alcohol walked up behind me and started mumbling and stumbling around. I thought he was a drunk homeless person and I looked at him and then started asking the reception, who was clearly scared of him, if she knew who he was After literally 45seconds of him talking louder and more drunk and touching me with his finger and her just watching him and not saying anything, she said he owned the place. I kept asking her during this about my problem because I work from my computer and I only stayed there because the lobby WiFi was good. I didn’t care about the towel obviously. So then I started talking to him telling him How I work and he it was important and that I needed to figure out the WiFi and he just kept repeating himself and interrupting me about the towel. At this point he starts looking me up and down insulting me telling me to leave them alone so they can work and calls over security. I handed the towel to the security guy and asked if he could take it up to my room. I stopped talking to “owner” haha, and started talking again to the concierge. I went over to the opposite side of the long counter and asked the women for a refund and that I would leave the hotel and find someplace else but she just shook her head. I went to my room and calmed and had a laugh about the situation. They called right after and apologized profusely. But said they couldn’t give me a refund.
Photo proof… You'll regret your stay at this hotel, and I'd say it's one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. For starters, all the hallways are dark because the lightbulbs are broken, the elevator buttons only work intermittently, and the elevator itself is in a deplorable state. I can't even begin to describe the smell I encountered as soon as I opened my room door 🤮. The bathroom is beyond disgusting, and the towels are stained. The pool is also appalling, broken everywhere, as you can see in the photos, with the electrical wire for the lights dangling in the water. I'm sure this hotel has many stories and good times to tell, but that's the end of it.
