Dear Vicca, I am writing to you with great disappointment, as your hammam has always been one of my favorites. It's even thanks to you that it became my number one choice. Whenever I'm looking for a hammam or someone asks me for a recommendation, it's always yours that I suggest. Unfortunately, this last visit gave me the impression that everything had changed. With the exception of the women inside the hammam, who were lovely, smiling, and very attentive, the rest of the team left us with a very bad impression. The employees seemed unmotivated, and every time we asked for something, we were either told it wasn't available or it was done in a way that made us feel like we were bothering them. I simply asked for my hair to be dried. Each woman passed the request on to another colleague until a young woman, who seemed to be a beginner, took care of it. She didn't even know how to hold the hairdryer properly. We also asked to have our bangs cut: no one answered us at first, and then, after a long wait, we were simply told there were no scissors. The reception staff were also very cold and unfriendly. Honestly, I got the impression that some employees only made an effort because you were there. Without you, it felt like everyone was just doing their own thing. I'm writing this review because I genuinely appreciate your establishment and would like to see the return of the level of quality and service that made its reputation so strong. It would be a real shame if loyal customers left with this impression.

One Star Is Too Generous : Rude, Judgemental, and Unprofessional I had a terrible experience at this salon, and honestly, even giving one star feels like too much. From the moment I walked in, I was treated differently just because I was dressed casually. The owner, who I believe is Ukrainian was shockingly rude and dismissive. She only smiled and showed basic decency to customers who were dressed up or looked a certain way. Her attitude was snobbish, entitled, and completely off-putting. This is supposed to be a spa and hair salon, a place where people come to feel better about themselves, not worse. Instead, I was made to feel like I didn’t belong. If a salon makes you feel judged and unwelcome, what does that say? The makeup was a complete disaster, cakey, dry, and unflattering. I felt so bad, I actually went home and cried. On top of that, the staff were cold, condescending, and unkind. At one point, they even bad-mouthed another customer right in front of her just because she politely asked for a different spot. Totally unprofessional and honestly shocking behavior. It feels like they act this way because they think they can, maybe because they have little local competition? But that’s no excuse for treating people with disrespect. If you're looking for a welcoming, respectful, and professional salon experience, I strongly recommend going elsewhere.
