Dakhla White Hotel

Outstanding service! Very friendly and proffesional looking establishment. We arrived in Dakhla a little confused about where we were staying and called the owner by mistake. He went out of his way to pick us up from the airport and help us find our accommodation which was near by. The Dakhla White House looked very nice from outside and was in a good, quiet location.

This hotel could be excellent if management bothered to check the rooms before guests checked in. The manager offers options that she doesn't then honor. Room 202: The light keeps switching on and off, and the shower only offers a choice between scalding hot or cold water. Room 301: I had the unpleasant surprise of being moved to a smaller room, even though I was initially offered a larger one. The worst part was finding blood on the sink. Disgusted, I didn't use the bathroom and left the next day, even though my stay was supposed to last [duration missing].

Avoid this hotel! What they advertise is completely false. The staff (the two boys at reception and the two serving breakfast on the terrace) are friendly and kind. The room has a kitchen with no utensils and no practical use, a bathroom with no hot water, and a toilet that doesn't flush. The double room has two beds pushed together, and they are too hard. It's located directly below the terrace, making it difficult to sleep at night and in the morning. The sheets were never changed, and towels were only provided after we asked for them. The hotel boasts a sea view: don't think it's right on the water; the sea is only visible after a building, with no beach access. There are no elevators, and the soundproofing is poor. A real rip-off considering the prices: choose kiteboarding hotels for direct beach access.

After a 4-night stay, I must say that the hotel, besides being new and offering high-quality service, has a tea area and a lounge area in the reception area where you can chat. I highly recommend this establishment because you can really see the passion they've put into the project. The customer service was excellent, and the owner himself was constantly concerned with ensuring my complete satisfaction during my stay. After staying 4 nights at this hotel, I have to say that it offers high-quality services and has areas where you can relax, talk to friends, or have tea. I recommend staying with them because the owner takes care of every single detail to make you feel comfortable.
