Coffee and Cakes Tanger | (Rania Food) - Wifi / Laptop Friendly

I have visited this café before, and it used to be quiet, welcoming, and pleasant. Unfortunately, this time the experience was completely different. Now there are young staff members who do not know how to treat customers or understand that the customer is the king—the customer is the one paying for the service and, ultimately, their work. While I was sitting there, I noticed employees watching and spying on customers, one looking through the window and another making fun of people. There seems to be no proper supervision or management. Unfortunately, the place has lost the calm atmosphere and respectful service it used to have.

I’ve worked from coffee shops in different countries, and this place genuinely has the same vibe as some of the best international cafes. Fast Wi-Fi, plenty of outlets, comfortable seating, and an atmosphere that’s perfect for getting work done. Whether you’re studying, working remotely, or just enjoying a coffee with your laptop, it feels welcoming and productive. The coffee is consistently good, the staff are friendly without being intrusive, and the environment strikes the right balance between calm and lively. It’s rare to find a spot like this in Morocco

I went there for the first time today and the service was exceptional. I love that you can order online and they deliver a right to your table. The food I had was amazing and the service was fast.

Lovely spot to stop as you walk from the train station to the ferry or the old city. We had breakfast and multiple coffees. Everything was fresh and delicious and our server was so kind! I’ll be back next time I’m in Tangier!

I don’t even know where to start. I first came to Coffee & Cakes back in July when they first opened to grab a matcha. Little did I know it would literally become my second home. I love coming for breakfast, lunch or even a light dinner. The options are so original, yummy and made with so much love! I love the saussage msemen and the tuna melt msemen, but the ceasar salad is also so good. I literally can’t pick just one thing. As for the drinks, I don’t even know what to say, my personal favourites are the Mango Matcha with Coconut Milk and the Iced Vanilla Latte with Oat Milk, but the Mango Juice and Atay are also sooooo good. Tbh everything is good, I just can’t pick and I love my daily options so much that I don’t even try all of them. Regarding the team, I have genuinely never met a team so lovely, all of the girls are super sweet and will always have a big smile on their face when welcoming you. They take their time to explain options and are always so attentive. Coffee & Cakes is laptop friendly and has such good and fast wifi that I even work directly from there. It’s also woman owned and the owner has to be one of the most supportive and inspiring women I have ever come across. This is definitely my safe place here in Tanja and I mean it 🫶🏽
