The hall is full, I entered and even said "Peace be upon you" 😃 …
I am very disappointed by my experience with this ophthalmologist. Her behavior towards patients seemed unprofessional and lacking in empathy, which made the consultation unpleasant. Furthermore, the interpretation we received regarding what was a straightforward case was very unsatisfactory and not reassuring. This led to misunderstandings and a lack of confidence in the proposed follow-up care. I believe that better communication, more active listening, and a more attentive approach to patients would be necessary to improve the quality of care.
Catastrophic experience. Not recommended. The devices were so bad they were practically useless.
A very bad experience. The phrases are wrong and don't give you enough time. I don't recommend it; you'll just waste your money.
I highly recommend this practice; don't hesitate to visit. Dr. Meryem is the best ophthalmologist. She is friendly, attentive, and takes the time to talk with you and explain each step of the examination, patiently answering all your questions.
Zero dealings
I am extremely disappointed and dismayed by my experience with Dr. Meryem Bellamine. Details of the Misdiagnosis • Date of Consultation: October 21, 2025 • Patient: My daughter, 2 and a half years old Dr. Bellamine diagnosed a need for vision correction and prescribed glasses with a +3.00 power for six months. However, a second opinion from another ophthalmologist, after thorough examinations, revealed that my daughter's vision is perfectly normal and that no correction is necessary. The initial prescription was therefore completely erroneous. It is unacceptable that such a far-reaching diagnosis, involving the daily wearing of glasses for an extended period, was made incorrectly. The other ophthalmologist confirmed that wearing unnecessary corrective glasses, especially with such a high prescription as +3.00, could potentially have harmed my child's eyesight and caused visual problems (headaches, eye strain, or even a deterioration of her existing vision). I am warning other parents. I deplore this lack of professional rigor, which could have had serious consequences for my daughter's eyesight.
