Casa Medina Sanaa

I am from Tetouan. But I only discovered this place recently. I was having a walk and decided why not have a coffee there and see. The place is top floor so it has an amazing views over the rooftops of Old Medina houses and you can see far away the mountains and sea too, so it's really special. The furniture is simple and traditional with a beautiful Moroccan touch, it feels super comfortable. They make Ibrik Turkish traditional kind of coffee which was a good experience as well. Over all, it was a super nice visit.

The location is to complex. If u been there u must wake up by 10 am or 9 for u can have ir breakfast because the employer wakeup to Late .

The dishes are rather expensive for what they are (80 dirhams), whether it's the chicken with olives or the couscous. Prices aren't specified at the entrance or on the menus. The bread is mediocre and the service is quite slow (over 30 minutes). As for the tables: dirty and unusable.

After being in the bustling Medina market, arriving here was a wonderful experience. It's a house with a super quiet terrace, free from the noise of people and cars. The food was delicious, like being in a Moroccan family's home (which, in fact, you are), a real treat. Highly recommended. Good food and relaxation after sightseeing... (The cook speaks perfect Spanish) Edit after receiving the bill: I'm not giving it more stars because, for Morocco, the price isn't cheap. They gave us more food than we ordered, and the price was very high—a 50cl soft drink cost €3, the price of a Barcelona restaurant. Prices aren't listed on the menu signs, so if you don't want a shock, ask when you order. It's a shame to leave with a bad impression because of people trying to take advantage of tourists...
