Café Restaurant Roma

A highly recommended restaurant for a meal or simply to enjoy a good coffee or any other beverage. We had dinner there last night, March 23, 2025, after enjoying two excellent coffees and a glass bottle of Coca-Cola. The young owner is incredibly helpful and friendly and speaks excellent French. We will definitely return during the rest of our stay. Yesterday's dinner: a large tagine for two with meatballs and eggs, including delicious traditional bread: 100 dirhams Mint tea for two: 10 dirhams Cappuccino, Americano (long espresso), and a bottle of Coca-Cola: 10 dirhams each. We chose this café somewhat randomly. It offers classic dishes like kebabs, tagines, and couscous. Be warned, they serve everything as a set menu even if you haven't ordered anything. Prices aren't displayed, so be sure to ask beforehand. Our meal cost 70 dirhams, but when it came time to pay, they asked for 80 dirhams. As for the food, it's very basic; neither good nor bad. The service was friendly but very slow.

Very bad experience The food was bland, tasteless, inconsistently cooked, and served cold. The service was slow and the hygiene questionable (the toilets were in a terrible state). Prices weren't displayed, and they charged us for a set menu without us ordering it, at a very high price considering the quality. The "managers" were dishonest, if they can even be called "managers." The only positive point, though probably just luck, was that we didn't get sick.

A very good experience at this restaurant overlooking the central square of Taroudant. A very warm welcome, a very friendly owner, and delicious, typical cuisine. Go without hesitation!

This is a terrible place .The food is disgusting and then they try charge 5×××× Prices .Stay away ,there are plenty of good places to eat nearby
