Very good to go for the experience. The view is great, and the tea and cakes. We were over charged though, im not sure if its because we are tourists or there was service charge added on but there's no receipt and the waiter looked to be making it up on the spot.
We enjoyed the Moroccan cookies and tea with a pretty view.
⚠️ Warning for tourists They charged me 20 dh for a glass of tea, then I realised it’s 10 dh on the price list. I asked the guy and he said it’s service charge. What a scam. Avoid this place!
The oldest and best cafe in Rabat. Enjoy the weather, atmosphere, sweets, tea and view
My favorite place in rabat
A nice place to stop for tea and a biscuit.
Pass through the (stunning) Andulucian Gardens to the Cafe Des Oudayas and find a seat either in the shade or overlooking the river ; the gentlemen will bring you a platter of homemade cakes to choose from to eat with your mint tea (the best we tasted in Rabat!). Cakes ; coconut, almond, honey drizzled cake with some exquisite perfume flavour I couldn't work out; a "gazelles" horn ; and all for 60 dhirham for 2 people. Watch the world go by in the best location.
Pretty limited menu, mainly tea, coffee and sweets. Very efficient service, can be a bit brusque. Great views of the Kasbah, the Twin City of Sale, and the beach.
