Feel like this place has a massive hype but is slightly disappointing. We were the only people not offered to go up to the air conditioned room. Maybe they wanted someone downstairs to show it was busy? The food was expensive I would say. Maybe because they are well known to tourists so they can charge it. We’re talking 90-95 for a main dish but also an appetiser. The chicken pastilla was absolutely delicious as was my chicken rfissia but the meatballs and rice had no flavour.

the staff were lovely! they spoke french and english. the food was amazing meat literally falling off the bone! the lemonade was delicious.

Chicken pastille and minced meat rice were very good. Good service, too.

Meknes Medina is full of restaurants that do the same dishes but charge ridiculous prices for tourists. This is another one..it's not awful, just okay. If tagine was 20-30 dh it's be fine.

Very nice place, high quality food, all home made and friendly service. The chicken tajine (in all types) is quite good.

We had dinner on 2 consecutive days. The first day the food was excellent, the service was good, even though the ambience was mediocre (the owner was continuously chatting on her mobile phone). On the second day the food was below average, the service inadequate snd the mobile phone chatting was just as bad as the day before.

At first, walking towards that place, you would think you are lost or might reconsider your decision making process. The place is totally worth it and the most delicious and authentic food. Aisha the owner is very pleasant and the food is made by local residents. She never turns away any client and when she runs out of a dish, she will inform the clients if they re willing to wait for a newly cooked pot. DO NOT pay attention to over zealous locals who try to walk you there and take credit for taking you there. I did ask for direction and the local started walking me there. i simply ignored it and made sure that Aisha knew that Google led me to her and was not referred by anyone. Food and service were great. Portion were generous. Surely worth it.
