Riad Sidrat Fes

My husband and I loved our stay here! The Riad is so beautiful and there’s so much beautiful artistry with the tiles & two beautiful courtyard gardens. The Riad was as beautiful (or more) than some of the palaces and Madrassas that we saw! The WiFi was also great and they have many different networks with all the same password to use on different floors to ensure the best connection. We met the friendly owner & his wife. They were super kind and told us how it took 3-4 full years of restoring the Riad with artisans. They clearly are very passionate about it and about Fes! The room was beautiful with big stained glass windows & I felt like I was staying in a palace. We also enjoyed watching the sunset from the roof with mint tea one evening. The staff were very helpful. Both staff named Mohamed went out of their way to be helpful—brining us mint tea, preparing a delicious breakfast, making us dinner reservations and organizing a guided tour of Fed for us. Originally, we had planned to just walk around Fes by ourselves but the owner highly suggested a tour. I’m glad we did the tour because it allowed us to just relax. Just FYI, vegetarians, you might want to skip the tannery part of the tour. Luckily, they give you fresh mint to smell. Definitely stay here 🥰❤️🇲🇦

Impeccable service. Highly professional, a spectacular breakfast, and beautiful, clean rooms. Although it was a short stay, we felt very comfortable.

Lovely Riad with very welcoming and helpful staff. They booked us a taxi to go back to the airport and escorted us to the taxi which was lovely. They also gave us tips on printing boarding passes. The rooms are large and given it is a pretty but old building it took a long time for the room to get warm. Also the shower didn't drain but when I mentioned to the manager in the morning she said we should have lifted the lid which we weren't told when checking in. She did apologise about it. Very good breakfast in the morning too. Overall I'd highly recommend if you don't mind it taking awhile for the room to heat up. 😊🙏

We stayed at the Riad Sidrat in mid October and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to stay. Walking into the Riad from the old town was like walking into a palace from a thousand years ago. From the moment we arrived we couldn’t help but take pictures of the beautiful tiles, the stone carvings, the grand wooden doors and the lovely courtyards. The bedroom was spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was powerful. The bathroom was lovely (again with stunning tiles) and clean with plenty of hot water and a good powerful shower. There was a lovely rooftop terrace with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sun and the lovely surroundings. The breakfast was incredible – plentiful, tasty, fresh and with plenty of choice. Unlimited tea, coffee and water were provided through the day. The staff at the hotel were also all brilliant – making you feel at home (without being too overpowering!). The Riad itself is located in the old town – no cars around and you can immerse yourself in authentic Fes straight out of the front door. Lots of nice places to eat in walking distance – recommend the rooftop terrace for nice dinner at Fondouk bazaar. Overall, a really lovely place to stay in a beautiful city. We hope to be back one day soon!

We stayed at the Riad for our honeymoon and it was an amazing experience. We had been travelling around Morocco for 2 weeks and this was one of our last stops, and my word was it worth the wait! It was most definitely the highlight of our trip, everything was unforgettable from the luxury of the Riad to the most humble of hosts that were there. Everyone from the Riad management team to the people that served us our food were so nice and helpful. The Riad itself is majestic, it felt that you were totally disconnected from the real world being there, the comfort of the beds, the breakfast selection (HUGE!!!), views on the terrace, even to the entertainment in the rooms -NETFLIX a big plus ;) all far exceeded our expectations. They made us feel so welcome on our honeymoon, and we will definitely be back :)

I’ve traveled to 99 countries in the world and have stayed at some of the nicest hotels on work and leisure trips. And yet Riad Sidrat Fez is simply one of my FAVORITE places I’ve ever experienced. The location is great, the facilities are amazing, and breakfast is delicious. However, the crown jewel of Riad Fez is Maryam. Maryam will ensure you feel like a king or queen visiting Fez staying at a castle. Stay here and you will not be disappointed. You deserve it!

This beautiful riad is located between the two main shopping streets of the Medina (Talaa Sghira and Talaa Kebira). Its interior is breathtaking, it feels like a museum. The suite was spacious, with a comfortable bed, and very quiet. The ceilings are high, so the sense of space is truly incredible. The staff is super friendly and always smiling. They are very helpful and will help you with everything. The breakfast is very varied, with all the typical Moroccan products. For those with a rental car, its strong point is its proximity to the Ain Azletin secure parking lot, a 5-minute walk away (40 dirhams for 24 hours).
