Dar D'or Fes (Traditional Guesthouse&Bed And breakfast)

Namir and his wife made our stay unforgettable at this beautifully decorated Dar. We asked for airport transfer, a spa suggestion, laundry, two delicious homemade dinners and a private guide for the Fes medina, and all requests were dealt with kindness and efficiency. The Dar itself is located 5 minutes from the Blue Gate, it has "living" areas on the ground floor where you can have a Moroccan mint tea, and also a rooftop section with chairs and tables with nice sunset views. Wifi was also very good, I had video calls with no issues from our room. Breakfast is very substantial and authentic.

This was the best hotel experience we've had on our travels. The inside is a stunning example of a traditional riad, an oasis from the hustle of Fez. The owners and staff are extremely hospitable and are always there to greet you with a smile. Breakfast each morning was generous and always something to look forward to. The rooms are very stylish and have everything you need — air conditioning, comfortable bed, hot shower, etc. Wifi can be patchy. The location is ideal for exploring on foot. If you have a car like we did there is a guarded parking area around the corner. We paid 20DH per day and everything was how we left it.

I don’t know how more people don’t know about this place because it’s is PHENOMENAL. The reviews speak for themselves. The stay at Dar D’or Fes was truly outstanding. The accommodations is so incredibly charming (not to mention very clean). The breakfast is lovely. I didn’t get a chance to have dinner here but if the aromas that permeated through the central atrium during the early evening are any indication, dinner would be equally amazing. What really set this Riad apart however is the husband, wife and team who’s level of kindness and customer service is unparalleled. I’ve stayed at 5 stars hotels (Four Seasons, Marriott brands, Raffles, Hilton brands) and the customer service at Dar D’or Fes matches those brands if not better. I would highly recommend anyone stay here. Thank you so much for the fantastic stay.

I feel very glad that we decided to choose this riad. The stay was wonderful in many aspects. The owner and his wife ensured that every minute of our stay would be without any troubles or obstacles. They were very attentive but in no way pushy. Namir has made our stay extremely pleasant and memorable by suggesting tours and other activities. The rooms were very nice and clean and the breakfast was really good plus the location of the hotel is convenient. I could not find a single thing that was wrong there. I can only thank Namir and his wife for the stay and hope to come back there one day!

Lovely place, arranged as with a taste aof traditional moroccan style. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Really nice breakfast and great hosts. If you got the chance reserve for the dinner, you won't regret it.

Amazing guest house, clean and all your needs attended to. Excellent historical and family. The only place I wished I had more time to spend. I am coming back to Fes and staying here. I am telling all my family and friends about this gem of a place. I couldn't be more happier with location, condition, ambience, charm and true hospitality. Thank you Namir!!! God bless you

Dar D’or Fes was fantastic. The rooms were so clean and the food was wonderful. Namir and his team were so hospitable. Definitely recommend staying here.
