During my trip to Morocco, this was my second hammam experience.
I had previously had a wonderful and memorable experience at another spa in Marrakech, and hoping to relive that feeling, I booked this hammam on the last day of our trip to enjoy it together with my daughter.
The price was 600 dirhams for a hammam and massage set.

The woman at the reception was very kind and pleasant, but unfortunately, the hammam itself was a terrible experience.

The hammam table was extremely hot, to the point where it was painful to keep my skin in contact with it even for a few minutes. When I complained, I was told that “this is normal.” Only after insisting did they place a bath towel on the table, but even then it remained too hot. After returning home, I realized that I had suffered low-temperature burns, and my skin was bright red.
(The changing area was very dark, so it was impossible to properly check my skin condition at the time.)

In addition, the exfoliation with the hammam towel felt more like forceful scrubbing without proper technique rather than a professional treatment. My daughter ended up with multiple abrasions on her skin, and my own back was still stinging the next morning. The burn on my lower abdomen remained red, and my daughter also had marks resembling abrasions on her back and thighs.
The scalp massage was also done simply by scratching with fingernails.
This was far from a professional treatment.

The massage itself was average and nothing special. The oils and

I would like to share my honest opinion about my experience at this hammam.

At reception, the staff was kind at first. However, my mother and I had to wait around 10–15 minutes before the treatment started, which was uncomfortable.

We were then separated into different rooms. The woman who attended me was kind but, unfortunately, not professional. The treatment was painful. Although I am not an expert in hammam treatments and therefore did not say anything at the time, I felt something was wrong. I have done hammam before in another spa, and while it can be intense, it has never been to the point where it felt like I was being cut.

After the treatment, I experienced a lot of pain and noticed small cuts and red marks on my arm, back, and stomach.

The massage afterward was even worse. The therapist’s attitude was discouraging and did not create a relaxing atmosphere. The massage itself was uncomfortable and poorly done. Additionally, the oil used for the massage was nothing special, as it was a basic Johnson & Johnson oil, which was disappointing for a spa experience.

Furthermore, the sink in the shower area was clogged, which was unhygienic. After finishing, I was not given a towel and had to dry myself with a bathrobe.

To conclude, this did not feel like a professional or relaxing spa experience. It felt poorly managed and uncomfortable, also for adults, because it was weird the touching. The receptionist repeatedly came to check if everything was okay, but some clients

Me and my friends went here for the Hammam experience and were blown away! They are so warm and friendly. One of a kind experience.
Selma was incredible, has the touch of an angel and took very good care of me. I felt so pampered and left feeling lighter with a glowing skin
Mariam at the front desk is sweet, she made us tea while we waited. 100/10 for service ❤️

Please be respectful of their efforts, their process, their culture and learn to be patient. I’d suggest you come here with ample time to spare. Please don’t rush to fit a schedule. You will not regret it.
Highly recommend

We paid 800 dirhams for a 45-minute massage as a couple. We walked in together and naturally expected to be in the same room, but they immediately separated us, saying there was no room with two beds. The actual massage lasted only 15–20 minutes, then the masseuses walked out and told us to shower and change.

After going back and forth with the front desk, the receptionist kept trying to manipulate me, insisting that showering and dressing were part of the massage time. Only after I pushed, she agreed to give us an “extra 30 minutes,” but even then my boyfriend only got about 20 minutes. To top it off, she tried to claim we’d been given a “special hair mask treatment” for free which was nothing more than being handed shampoo and conditioner during the rushed shower before we were told to change and get out. A girl massaging my boyfriend just tossed a water bottle and walked out without saying anything ( he had to figure out that the massage was over himself ) .

This place is misleading, unprofessional, and not worth the money. We left more stressed than when I walked in. Avoid at all costs.

The actual massages weren’t that good either…my back still hurts
