Elegant and traditional restaurant at the entrance of the old medina. Great ambience and amazing foor (I recommend pastilla with pidgeon meat and lamb tajine with plums and almonds, very generous quantity). Prices are way higher that a classical moroccoan place (900MAD for two persons) but the quality and quantity of food worth the price. A little bit noisy the musical entertainment but interesting.

I’m so glad I went to Dar El Kaid, as it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip to Casablanca. The restaurant is tucked inside the medina, and even just following the signs to get there sets the mood with that authentic oriental vibe. The place itself is incredible: mosaics, carved wooden ceilings, artefacts everywhere, and big chandeliers that make the whole setting feel unique. The food was tasty from the starters to the main dish, and you could tell they use good quality ingredients. It's a pity that I had to leave just as the live music show was starting. The singers had already created such a great atmosphere, and I would have liked to stay longer. I’ll definitely be back next time I'm in Casablanca.

This is one of those experiences you remember forever. It creates a sort of marker for the whole trip. Probably the best lamb I’ve had my whole life. The service is so high you feel like you’re being treated like royalty. And the entertainment is just so special. And beauty of the building is outstanding! All that detail craftsmanship!! All around amazing experience.

Dar El Kiad in Casablanca is a very nice place with a warm, traditional ambiance. The food was good, well-prepared, and flavorful. The setting adds to the charm and gives a nice Moroccan dining experience.

They also had a music show and a belly dancer, which were enjoyable, but the performance duration was a bit short — it felt like it ended just as things were getting lively.

Overall, it’s a pleasant restaurant with good food, nice atmosphere, and some entertainment, even if brief.

The best traditional Moroccan cuisine in Casablanca. Ambience was incredibly soothing, with music and dancing adding to the superb food. This is a MUST SEE while visiting Morocco. It's an architectural gem within the walls of the old Medina and a 5 star experience no person, local or visitor, should miss. Kudos to a great job! ✨️
