I’m so glad I went to Dar El Kaid, as it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip to Casablanca. The restaurant is tucked inside the medina, and even just following the signs to get there sets the mood with that authentic oriental vibe. The place itself is incredible: mosaics, carved wooden ceilings, artefacts everywhere, and big chandeliers that make the whole setting feel unique. The food was tasty from the starters to the main dish, and you could tell they use good quality ingredients. It's a pity that I had to leave just as the live music show was starting. The singers had already created such a great atmosphere, and I would have liked to stay longer. I’ll definitely be back next time I'm in Casablanca.
