Restaurant safran Citron

OMG! Safran Citron is the best restaurant we have eaten at in Morocco. Starting with crisp warm wholemeal bread with an amazing chili tapenade, stunning olives and olive oil. The octopus was to die for and the prawn tajine was simply amazing. The eggplant entre was best eggplant dish we have ever had! Prices are so reasonable. Don't miss this place if you are in Essouaria for the freshest seafood cooked with Moroccan love ! Lou Sanson - New Zealand

Unfortunatelly there isnothing but absolute nothing tocomplain about with safran Citron. The opposite is the case! The safran citron is small hidden gem in the medina. We found it on google, booked a table and had a great dinner with the whole family, enjoying delicious fresh fish and hommemade refreshing cocktails. Service was very calm smooth and always to the top. Thanks for the nice evening and keep it up

I loved the restaurant's atmosphere. It was family-run, with lots of little touches to make sure everything was alright. But above all, the food was excellent and the value for money was outstanding in this beautiful city. Here's an example: the star couscous with chicken and prunes.
