Marrakech WITH Locals

My first day in Marrakech was chaotic but I went on the walking tour of the medina on my second day and it instantly changed my opinion. Such a beautiful city with great tradition and history. The Moorish architecture is awe inspiring and the local people are so friendly, humble and most of all talented. Our guide, Lahsen was amazing. So friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend booking this tour early during your trip to Marrakech, especially if a first time visitor like myself :)

We had an excellent walking tour in Marrakesh with our guide, Ismael. He provided a fascinating snapshot of the history of both Morocco and Marrakesh, making the experience informative as well as enjoyable. One of the highlights of the tour was exploring the different sections of the old market (souk), each with its own specialty — from spices and traditional foods to clothing, leather goods, and intricate metalwork. Ismael guided us through the bustling streets with great knowledge and enthusiasm, helping us appreciate the culture, craftsmanship, and daily life of the city. The tour was very engaging and gave us a genuine feel for the heart of Marrakesh. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic and insightful introduction to the city.

The group atmosphere was very pleasant as well: a lovely family from Portugal and Hungary, a friendly couple from Singapore, and myself from Norway. Ismael made everyone feel welcome and included. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to truly understand Marrakech beyond just walking through it. A memorable and enriching experience.
