When we saw the reviews this restaurant had we were really curious as to why it could have 8k+ reviews while still having a 4.8 average. Did they have a promo wherein if you leave them a 5 star review you get a freebie? We just had to know!
Nope. That 4.8 rating they have is legit. This is hands down the best place we went to in Morocco. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked properly. Their food tasted so good that even when my original order of Lebanese breakfast set was cancelled because they didn't have hummus and motbal, both of which I was really looking forward to, I still ended up being happy with what we had.
Special mention
That tagine egg in their Morrocan breakfast set ... it was so beefy and eggy that scooping it with their bread felt so sinful. The amazing thing is that it was such a simple dish, just beef and eggs with no special seasoning as far as I know but goddamn if that wasn't the best thing I've had in my trip.
Their shakshouka was perfectly cooked. The vegetable mix was juicy and bursting with flavor while their egg was runny and moist. Normally I'd get shakshouka where the vegetables are dry and salty while the egg is overcooked so I was so happy with how well their version turned out to be.
I highly recommend this place for people who enjoy breakfast. Their sets are affordable and technically one set is enough for two but me and my wife went through two sets and a side of shakshouka just because of how good everything was. The service was a
