We were looking for a 5 star hotel and it was beautiful. The rooftop restaurant is a vibe, the food was good but took a while to get. They compensated more than enough with the bread while we waited.
I requested an upper level room and was told there were none available. When we complained about the construction on the floor we were on, they did graciously move us to another room on a higher floor. The beds and pillows are comfortable, the housekeeper was very responsive and helpful. I wish they had not put us in the room with construction nearby without telling us. they also charged me for two small things from the minibar, which once I confirmed that we did both use the minibar, they said they will refund. There needs to be a little more attention to detail and the hotel needs to be updated. The first day, when we arrived for breakfast all the hit var food was finished. Another guest was complaining that he paid for breakfast and how can they not have anything. We did however get a fresh omelet and cappuccino. If you are going for a business trip, I would highly recommend, if you’re going for vacation and want to be near the water, then this is not the place for you. It’s in the heart of the bustling city with traffic everywhere. We had our own car and the valet parking and service was amazing and attentive.
