Everything was delicious and high quality. The location is just stunning and breathtaking. Highly recommended!

The staff seemed knowledgeable about celiac disease. I had the grilled squid and tried the grilled octopus, which was also gluten-free. Both were delicious. They even have gluten-free rice toast. Highly recommended.

Great food, service, space and vibe. The chef is creative, she is doing very delicious food-well done. We tried four dishes from menu, and I can’t choose which one was better.

The pasta with calameres and scampi was absolutely delicious! I loved that there was a lot of calamares and scampi in the pasta, it had a lot of flavor. My fiancé took the grilled octopus which was also great! Would definitely recommend. The setting is retro vintage, which I like too! Calm background music, relaxed atmosphere.

Grilled octopus & grilled john dory in a cozy space with a retro vibe — Internet research, with a bit of hype, led us to The Loft during our visit to Essaouira. The food was ok, the staff incredibly nice (English spoken) and the space lovingly detailed with really interesting vintage electronics equipment throughout. While The Loft didn’t “blow our socks off,” it was worth the visit. My only complaint, for a restaurant within striking distance of the Atlantic Ocean and an abundance of seafood sellers, the octopus should’ve been more fresh.

This was sadly our worst dinner in Morocco. For all the great reviews, this was disappointing. The octopus was cold when it arrived and back a minute later after being clearly zapped in the microwave. No seasoning and not very fresh. The chicken dish was good but the potato was cold. The beef is not recommended. Try elsewhere.

Well recommended. amazing food and cosy place! Try the beef with almonds and pears!

The best grilled octopus ever! All other dishes (beef, pasta) were excelent, too.
