I'm so happy to leave this review because we left here feeling incredibly satisfied. Without a doubt, it's one of the best places I've ever stayed. The style, architecture, and decor are so meticulously detailed and executed that simply walking in is a luxury. The breakfast was excellent, perfect for starting a day of sightseeing. Dinner (if you book it) is delicious, with generous portions and a wide variety of dishes, all with a traditional, homemade flavor. The strongest point of this place for us was the attention from all the staff... they made us feel right at home, and we truly appreciated that. They were always kind, respectful, and even funny! We laughed a couple of times. Many thanks to the entire team at Riad Al-Qurtubi for making our trip such a wonderful experience.

After 10 days of traveling through northern Morocco and 7 accommodations (riad, dar hotels, and hostel), this has undoubtedly been the best of the best. The breakfast was spectacular! I can't say more than the photos, as they speak for themselves. The cleanliness is impeccable; they really clean! The bed was what we expected, as after chaotic and tiring days, it gave us the rest we were looking for. It was truly worth every penny. The bathroom is spacious and minimalist. The riad's location is a 3-minute walk from the Bad Kasbah, York Castle, and the medina. You'll pass a spectacular viewpoint that lets you see the port and the Blue Mosque. THE BEST OF THE BEST Zacarias, as a host, was truly the one we'll remember about Morocco. He was personally kind. He explained the history of the riad to us, answered our questions, and recommended places to eat and visit. From its terrace, you can see the Strait of Gibraltar from one side, part of the city from the left, and a small mosque from the right. Every detail of this riad has been carefully thought out, from the art you'd expect from a riad, to the paintings and the vintage details. Something we loved was the library on the ground floor in case you want to read something to disconnect from everything. There's a parking lot just 3 minutes away from the riad if you're driving, and the prices are shown in the photo. If you're taking a taxi, it can drop you off right at the door, as it's not in the medina. You'll also find a bakery nearby where you can get 20 pieces for €5 and try them all. We'll definitely be back and will recommend it to all our friends who pass through Tangier.
