Air conditioning wasn’t working throughout my stay breakfast was really bad eggs and croissant only staff wasn’t helpful at all

The Ramada Encore Tangier is located in Tangier, just a 6-minute walk from Malabata Beach and a 10-minute drive from the Medina. This is our third stay at this hotel. Excellent value for money. Very clean. The blackout curtains are perfect. The shower has good water pressure and temperature. A kettle is provided. French TV channels work, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the property free of charge. Free private parking is available on site (no reservation required). Friendly staff. No complaints. It's a bit outside the center of Tangier (we knew this before booking) but quiet with free secure parking. We will definitely return. This property has also been rated highly for its excellent value for money in Tangier! Guests get more for their money compared to other properties in the city.

Absolutely superb hotel, spacious rooms, idyllic setting, extremely kind and smiling staff, and a fabulous breakfast. Special mention to the hotel manager for his competence and helpfulness. In conclusion, a truly memorable experience, worth staying at least one night in.

We stayed only for a night. I have stayed before in other Ramada Encores and usually one could expect a good budget /business hotel. I have stayed in Istanbul and it’s one of the transit hotel by Turkish airline. So Ramada Encore is one of the good budget hotel. Usually 3 or 4 star. This hotel is 3 star, room was decent and needs renovation, no restaurant. So I felt it’s little below average in comparison to other Ramada Hotels/ budget business hotels when it comes to condition of rooms etc . It has small pool maintained well. Breakfast was very nice and delicious. Some Moroccan breads and sauces were delicious and they also had continental breakfast too. Good vegetarian options. I think the best part is its location. Very near to Beach and central part of the most happening place in Tangier. Restaurants, clubs and all are very near and walkable. So to the price it’s not a bad option.

Update: you are allowed one small coffee at breakfast. First of all, the tall male staff was fantastic and he deserves to be in a better hotel. The overweight girl needs to learn customer service politeness. Rooms are to hotel and stuffy and the breakfast is not worth paying for. But again the waitress was lovely and it's amazing. Thank you.

Horrible experience. Three quarters of the surrounding area is abandoned buildings or construction sites. The adjacent beach is horribly rocky and full of trash. The staff is under par, having a hard time giving any reliable answers to questions about things as simple as the time of the next buffet. Although they announced serving 3 buffets a day, only 2 were actually served and not at the displayed times. The rooms are small and my bathroom door was actually broken, it could not be opened from the inside once closed... The hotel restaurant and bar bills offer to charge to your room but, the staff refused and required immediate payment. If I could've put less than 1 star, I would've.
