Amazing meal, one of my faves so far in Essaouira. Had the flute de Atlantis and the Pastilla pigeon with carmelized ginger, and all the Moroccan spices. Fantastic meal that I won’t soon forget.

Foodies Hidden Gem! We stumbled upon this restaurant as we wandered the Medina of Essaouira. Met the owner, discussed the menu and booked dinner. What a treat! When we arrived he took us through the entire menu so we understood how each dish was prepared. The presentation of each dish was only surpassed by the flavor which can best be described as Moroccan fusion. Every dish was exquisite, and the crescendo was the dessert at the end. The service and atmosphere, which was a cozy, warm restaurant equaled the dining experience. Truly not to miss!

A repeat visit to this Essaouira favourite and they delivered. It might not look like your place at the end of an alley, but I recommend you venture down there and enjoy some top class food in a charming location. I particularly enjoyed my Kaki salad starter followed by their signature dish of monkfish with saffron sauce. Mr S was very happy with his fish spring rolls followed by king prawn tagliatelle. All beautifully presented. The wine list heavily features the excellent organic wine from the nearby Val d’Argan winery. We were very happy with the Perle Noir e choose - a good spicy juicy red. Highly recommended. One of the best restaurants in the medina in Essaouira.

Bad sigh when we entered there was no other customers at dinner time. The octopus was not very fresh. Food was mediocre to say the least… very disappointing

Probably the most valuable hidden gem in all of Essaouira. Excellent food, plating, atmosphere, interior, hospitality … We had the monk fish, the slow cooked lamb and the grilled cauliflower as a starter and it was all beyond expectations. This refined class of gastronomy for this price is unbeatable. Highly recommended.

Amazing food, amazing value for money, super friendly staff and a cozy venue.

This is a terrific place. We only stayed for entrees : the cauliflower and monk fish were amazing. The service was prompt and wonderful. I can only recommend it.

OMG, if you don’t eat here on your trip, you missed out !!!! The owner is there the whole time making sure you feel welcomed. The food is beyond amazing, the lamb shank with caramelized bananas and cinnamon should be evaluated for a Michelin star Best meal we ate in all of Morocco Wines were well priced too. Book in advance, it’s about 12 tables with 2 dinner seatings, I probably sound like I’m selling the place but if you don’t go, it was your loss !!!
