Hôtel Mauritania Centre Tangier

One of the best economical hotels in Tangier ,right in the center.

We had a great experience at this hotel! The welcome was warm and friendly, and the staff at the reception were extremely kind and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Overall, we really appreciated the hospitality and excellent service. Highly recommended!

Great hotel right in the center of the old Medina! Booked a room for three people. One king size bed and one single bed. The room was clean, but a little smell of sewer, but it went away after running some water through the drain in the shower. The room even had a window towards the beautiful streets! This place puts you right in the middle of everything! There are 5 mosques within 5km radius, so expect some noise at 05:50 am, when they all start simutaniously. But for us, it just gave us the authentic Moroccon feeling! This place gives you great value for the small amount you pay (30€ a night). And the receptionist are very friendly and helpful. Would strongly recommend this hotel. Definitly returning here.

Overall a pretty good experience. Me and two friends stayed two nights. Our first room had mold on the wall so we requested a room change. The hotel owner was more than happy to accommodate us, and so we moved to a different room. The sheets were stained, but clean. The bed was uncomfortable, but decent for the price. Everything was worth it for the view on the roof past sunset and in the dark. You can see the whole city! Check out the view on both sides

I booked this place through Airbnb and it was perfect to my budget. Not a luxurious place but either a bad place. It's a hotel that according to a quality-price basis it's very good, and obviously, you just have to adapt and be flexible to what you pay: any luxury to enjoy but just being comfortable. Also, there are 3 hosts at the reception who are extremely nice and helpful and they talk many languages. The rooms are spacious and clean, you have towels, one solid soap and two small shampoo envelopes. The room has black-outs and you can sleep in a dark room without any problems. The location is right in the center, it can't be better. There are staircases between the entry and every floor so isn't recommended to people who have trouble with that type of movement/exercise. The noises from the outside can be loud sometimes but you can solve it with earplugs. Check-in is at 2pm and check-out is at 12pm. We could leave our luggages there all day since our flight was at late night. Me and my boyfriend were here for 4 nights. Thank you for everything!

Very solid budget hotel in great location. Rooms are simple and small but clean and in good condition. Access is via many stairs. Value for money is really good. No air-conditioning so you sleep with the window open, or at least you try because it's very loud.

Decent hotel, worth the price. Location is great and they have an amazing terrace with almost 360 degree view. But the rooms were nothing special, just worked for my one night stay.

The room is very small and really uncomfortable. The bed is teeming with insects that bite you all night long. By the way, you will not sleep. Even a minute. Because all night long you will listening noise and singing, and scandals from the street and other rooms. Besides, the receptionist recommended us the restaurant. She said that there will have good dinner and service. But it was incredibly revolting! The food was awful and it was unbelievable expensive. So don't trust them. The hotel has only one good point - it's situated in the centre of Medina. We want to forget about this experience.
