Vanilla Cake

5/10 Why? The pastry was bad, too buttery. The bread is clearly the establishment's strong point; the baguette is crusty and good. The service leaves much to be desired... Although the girls at the counter serve you quickly, people cut in front of you, and it lacks organization. I paid 81 dirhams for 6 baguettes, 3 juices, and 1 overly buttery pastry.

Since we were visiting family in Meknes this weekend, we went to this pastry shop two days in a row. It's right next to my aunt's house. On Saturday, we ordered entremets, and they were excellent. On Sunday morning, we chose mini croissants and sweet treats with chocolate chips and almonds, which were also excellent. The service is top-notch. I highly recommend it! ;-)

The pastry was full of butter. I didn't like it.
