Hammam Medina

An authentic Moroccan hammam. The ladies who run it are lovely. Bring your own towel, mat, or stool to sit on inside, and your toiletries. On your way out, grab a refreshing orange juice or whatever you like from the shops on the corner.

Wow, we just came out of this traditional hammam! The women were amazing; my daughter and I were the only foreigners. All the women there were smiling and friendly... We'd go back tomorrow! I'm giving it 5 stars because I can't give it 10! A place of freedom!

This hammam is very simple but authentic. The women are very friendly. Communication is done with gestures. You should bring a towel, extra underwear, flip-flops, shower gel, and a hammam glove. It costs 70 DHM. You enter a waiting room where you undress down to your underwear. Then you are led into a tiled room that is heated from below. You first sit with your back against the wall and later lie down on the floor. There, you are completely scrubbed with black soap. It's not for people with a sense of modesty or bone problems.

I truly loved my visit to the Medina Hammam! If you're looking for a normal day to day hammam to visit, I can recommend coming here. I paid 70MAD for the entrance and massage. Bring a towel, shampoo, soap, a comb, a hammam washcloth!

A great experience that brings you closer to the local people of Tetouan. This place has pleasantly surprised us; they made us laugh a lot and treated us wonderfully. Totally recommended.

An unforgettable experience. It's a little strange when you first walk in (don't expect anything luxurious, it's very authentic), but then you relax and have a great time. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming, they offer massages and scrub you so hard they practically peel off two layers of skin, haha, but they leave you feeling brand new. All for about 220 dirhams for four people.
