Bab El Mansour Laalej

My visit to the Bab Mansour Gate was truly impressive. The gate is an incredible example of Moroccan architecture, with its massive size, intricate zellige work, and beautifully carved details. Standing in front of it, you really feel the history and grandeur of Meknes It’s a perfect spot for photos, and the open square around it adds to the charm. Whether you’re exploring the medina or just passing by, this landmark is definitely a must-see for anyone visiting the city

It’s a beautiful door. Not much else happening, there is a souk near by and did see touristy coffee / snack places. We just paid for parking+car wash and had a walk around the area.

Finally after being in restoration works for several years Bab Mansour is finally here in its full glory. One of the most complex, intricate and spectacular gates in Morocco. 10/10

This large gate sits across from a large square full of street food and other vendors. It is right in the middle of one of the busiest areas of the city (at least the old city). If you're in Meknes for any reason besides just going to Volubilis, chances are you will pass this gate in your travels. If so, by all means stop here to check it out.
