Rooms are OK, small but clean. Very nice rooftop terrace with ok breakfast but amazing lunch. Remember that you are in the Medina in Casablanca, so not a quiet place, even very late at night. Also, there are 3 mosques nearby so you will hear the call for prayer at dusk. Finally, we strongly recommend taking their taxi driver to and from the airport; he picks you up right out of the terminal (so you don't have to deal with all the others offering their service) and he walks you all the way to the hotel (so you don't have to figure it out by yourself on your first day), everything at a convenient pre-arranged price.

I really liked my double-level room here in the very interesting market area, and felt like I got a lot for my money. There's a large roof terrace and complimentary breakfast. It was quite a walk to the seafront from here (especially the west side of it), but Casablanca is a large city, so you can't be close to everything. There was a disco bar open until very late, right across the street, if you're that way inclined. Staff were super nice

Excellent location within the walls of the Old Medina (taxis will not be able to take you inside but the hotel is just a few yards from one of the Medina's entrances). Rooms are small but well appointed and spotless. The people at the front desk are welcoming and very helpful.

The Old Medina (taxis will not be able to take you inside, but the hotel is just a few yards from one of the Medina's entrances). Rooms are small, BUT spotless. The revamp Morocco strlyle was lovely and added charm to the rooms. Be mindful of the shower laid out for you, Westerners! Lol The people at the front desk are welcoming and very friendly. Yassine, khlaid, and Faisal-- shout out to you. You made our stay enjoyable. Relaxing and accommodating. Thank you for your hospitality & service! Khadajah at the desk was helpful with directions and locations. She spoke English well. If you wanted to know what other languages were spoken well, Faycal/Faiscal spoke Spanish well. Khlaid spoke English well. But mostly all the employees spoke French and of course Arbaic. I would recommend getting the breakfast for an additional fee during your stay. The breakfast at the hotel was great. Very fulfilling. The dinner at the hotel was great too. You can't beat the atmosphere, view, and service at the rooftop of the hotel while eating. The menu wasn't extensive, but the food was great. I recommend the couscous. The internet was shaky but overall did not diminish our stay. Staying within the walls of the Medina was enjoyable. It wasn't as loud as I would have thought. Great finds and bargains throughout the Medina. However, I wouldn't recommend wandering to the hotel after 10 pm. It gets dark, so be vigilant when walking back to the hotel after dark. I would definitely stay at the Ryaid 91. It was a restful, peaceful, pleasant, and enjoyable hotel. I hope to see the same employees again when I return!

We got a very small room, a poor bathroom with a strong smell of humidity, dirty/stained looking floors and full of flies. The bedroom and bathroom windows open onto a dirty well between buildings, without any mosquito net, so we didn't feel comfortable opening them. We found the price/quality ratio to be very poor.

Riad 91 is excellent place to stay in Casablanca, especially if you want more of a cultural experience. Apparently, it is also the only true riad in the city. This is obvious from its location in the Medina and the unique architecture of the accommodation. The building has an unusual construction with interesting knooks and rooms which for me greatly added to its appeal. However, if you are a person who requires an elevator, then be aware that climbing stairs is required. The single room (Room 1) I stayed in has a desk and chair and a bureau in the entrance area with doors leading to either the sink and toilet or the shower. Then, there is a rather steep metal staircase to the second floor lounge area off which leads to a room which just fits a double bed. By the way, I loved the firm bed which provided me better sleeps than I get at home as long as I used my earplugs to keep out the medina sounds in the early part of the night. With that said, going up to the terrace to lie and snooze in the sun after a day of wandering the city is a real bonus. I found the provided breakfast more than adequate with a strong Moroccan coffee, bread with butter and jam, a boiled egg, yogurt, freshly squeezed orange and a dish of olives an excellent way to start the day But I think the friendly staff is what made my stay so enjoyable and I especially appreciate Houcine and Khadija who patiently responded to my endless questions and engaged with me in some interesting conversations. Khadija also went out of her way to help me with experiencing the tram system as well. In addition, Houcine's theory on men and coffee shops was a much appreciated perspective. Overall, the two of them truly assisted in increasing my understanding of Moroccan life and culture. If you are headed to Casablanca and want more than just a regular hotel experience, I would recommend Riad91!

Morocco is a tired country. It's filthy, haphazard, and there is practically nothing beautiful about it. Perhaps that is a very general statement and what is it to do with Ryad 91? The Ryad is located within the old city. It's smelly, the rooftops are filthy from the window view. Room and bed cleanliness is NOT of high standards. A holiday is supposed to be enjoyable. And if you are constantly struggling to keep your sanity together, watching traffic, watching the Police speeding spots, then it's not a holiday. Sure some will certainly like this travel journey, but frankly it's not for me.

Location is 5 min walk from Casa Port station. Quite challenging in finding this property because it is situated inside bazaar market (old medina). Rooms are ok and clean. Free breakfast is simple as seen in the picture. No variation. If you love walking, you can reach the Marina Shopping mall, Hassan Mosque, famous Arab League park and Beautiful Sacred Heart cathedral.
