Beautiful riad! My sister and I had a wonderful stay. The hosts were so professional and welcoming. The managers, Mr. Hamid and Ms. Kenza, are very friendly; we felt right at home. We highly recommend it! Aziza ☺️

Riad Semlalia is a beautifully restored residence in a great location and just a short walk to the nearby markets in the souk area. The owners and staff are warm, friendly and helpful and make you feel very welcome. The traditional moroccan style of the building and quality furnishings are simply stunning...! Breakfast is delicious consisting of eggs cooked your way, a vast fresh pastry selection, yoghurt and fruit salad, freshly squeezed orange juice, tea and coffee. We enjoyed a beautiful home cooked moroccan dinner on one evening during our stay at the riad which was a real highlight. I have to make special mention of the lovely Driss, who offers a wonderful personal service as well as helpful tips and information for navigating the laneways and attractions of the local area. His local knowledge, charming personality and helpful advice is invaluable. He's quite a character! Our stay at Riad Semlalia has been the highlight of our trip to Morocco. I can highly recommend it to other travellers who may be considering a visit to Fes. The residence and the people are the best. You won't regret it...!!

Beautifully restored family owned Riad in a quiet part of Fes, close to the medina, with all the bells and whistles. You will feel spoiled and well cared for here. They go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful stay in Fes. We are very grateful for the many ways they assisted our travels.

We couldn't have chosen a better riad for our Fez adventure. It's a charming place, perfectly located for exploring the medina on foot. Magnificent rooms, with lots of light and a beautiful view of the internal courtyard. Breakfast was fabulous. We were pampered and treated wonderfully by the staff, especially Driss, who was always available to help you plan your day and tours, offering helpful advice, and offering tea or coffee. We already miss this place and hope to return one day.

Riad Semlalia - a unique accommodation. This beautiful riad leaves absolutely nothing to be desired, and we were immediately amazed upon entering. The incredibly beautiful courtyard invites you to linger, read, relax, and eat...not to mention the huge roof terrace with a pool. The breakfast is incredibly varied and delicious and was by far the best of our entire stay in Morocco. All the staff and owners are kind-hearted people who not only helped us fix the tire on our rental car but also spontaneously let us stay an extra night. We can warmly and unreservedly recommend this riad to everyone and will be back as soon as possible. Thank you again for everything!

Riad Semlalia was by far the BEST riad we have ever stayed in! The attention to detail, the incredible hospitality, and the captivating architecture make Riad Semlalia a MUST-DO when in Fes! Kenza and her warm family made our stay unforgettable. The breakfast was exceptional and incredibly delicious! Like a journey into One Thousand and One Nights. We will definitely be back!
