Riad des Plages

No one answers the phone, and once you arrive, there's no one at reception. They give you the property's number and tell you to come back another day when she's there. The staff confirms there are rooms available, but the owner refuses to show you the rooms or give you the price. The most important thing to start with in a hotel, restaurant, hostel, or riad is the welcome.

A beautiful riad, located 30 minutes from Rabat. We had a wonderful weekend there, far from the daily grind and without having to travel long distances. The riad is a little gem, perfectly decorated, very peaceful, and just a minute from David Beach. The hosts are incredibly kind. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful; everything is fresh, homemade, healthy, and above all, very convivial (we shared the same table with the hosts). I highly recommend it.

It's rare to find such friendly, funny, and kind hosts. The setting is very relaxing. The rooms are impeccably clean. The dinner prepared by our hostess was an opportunity to taste very fresh fish.

Jo and Josette gave us a very warm welcome. A little haven of greenery. A lovely little pool. So peaceful, it was exactly what I needed; if I could have, I would have stayed longer.

This riad has lost its former splendor. It's not maintained like it used to be; I think Covid has taken its toll. The photos on the website are old. However, Josette and Jo are welcoming and friendly. The price of 85 euros is no longer justified in my opinion.

We had a lovely stay at this guesthouse. The welcome was warm, and the rooms, each unique, had a lot of character. The garden is magnificent with its swimming pool; it felt like an oasis. I highly recommend this place for a holiday.
