The owner was friendly and helpful, and promptly and fully responded to all enquiries that we had prior to making a reservation. The owner identified which room exactly we were booking and provided its prohotographs. The booking process was easy and straighforward. When we arrived, the dinner (which we had pre-booked in advance) was ready for us — the dinner was tasty and plentiful. In general, the owner has left a positive impression. However, my complaints are: 1) In the bathroom, there is a small immersion heater boiler, therefore guests have only a limited amount of hot water. We have found that if the first person spends more than 4 minutes in the shower, hot water runs out for the next person. Twice we had to wash in cold water. My strong suggestion to the proprietor is to invest money in a bigger boiler or to invest in another type of water heating, so that hot water is available at all times. 2) The drain in the shower is severely blocked. It was impossible to have a shower, because the area soon becomes filled with standing water, which takes an hour to drain. The owner must address this problem properly and resolve it fully. The blocked drain in the shower was a serious, highly annoying problem for us and made our stay in this property uncomfortable. 3) Internet connection was either weak and intermittent — it was impossible to use the internet at that property.

A wonderful guesthouse run by settled nomads in a beautiful, peaceful Saharan oasis. The room was typical, well-decorated, and clean. The grounds were beautifully landscaped. We enjoyed a delicious dinner (including kid couscous) prepared by the cook. Our host, Brahim, is a very kind and caring person who gave us a very warm welcome; a big thank you! We highly recommend this guesthouse.

The House of the Blue Man: an enchanting destination! The Tighmert oasis alone is worth a detour for its beauty, the tranquility, and the serenity it offers to those who come to discover it. It is also ideally located between the dunes and the ocean, just a few minutes from Guelmim. Upon arriving in Tighmert, it would be a real shame not to continue this wonderful immersion at the Blue Man's! At Brahim's, you feel expected; his welcome is warm, simple, genuine, and familial. His house has a history, that of his family. It has the charm of traditional architecture and decor combined with modern comforts and impeccable cleanliness. From the terrace, what a pleasure it is to soak in the oasis, a jewel of a little paradise. Under the tent, you can drink tea while chatting or planning an excursion, and with Brahim, the choice is vast—it's best to stay several days! Some evenings, we sing and dance in the tent because Brahim is also a musician! All the meals are delicious, varied, almost too generous, prepared with good ingredients and a lot of heart. Brahim loves to host in his home; it's a real treat to go there and recharge, especially since the prices are very reasonable too...

A wonderful guesthouse in the heart of the oasis. The host is available and welcoming, ready to explain and advise about life in the oasis. He organizes 4x4 excursions into the desert. A complete change of scenery guaranteed!

Everything was great! The location, the views, the rooms, the tranquility, the terraces, the cleanliness, and the charming owner. The best couscous I've had in all of Morocco. If we return to the area, we'll definitely stay here again.
