I visited Azur Art & Spa and unfortunately had an extremely disappointing experience. The receptionist’s attitude was rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional from the very beginning. The situation became even worse when she ended up using inappropriate words with racist/discriminatory undertones, which is absolutely unacceptable in any customer-facing establishment.

Great Hamamm

Great place for a hammam and massage! Both my Hammam therapist (Soumia) and massage therapist (Samia) were excellent - very professional and attentive throughout. During the Hammam, I could see a lot of dead skin coming off, which shows how thorough the treatment was. The staff were very friendly, the reception team was welcoming, and the whole place was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended!

An amazing 90 minute massage - the AZUR SUPREME - with Sana today 11 March 2026. Cost was 550MAD (cash only please). The spa staff were welcoming, friendly and so kind. The facility was extremely clean and beautiful. It’s built on multi-levels and each floor is stunning! You will be given a secure key lock locker. A nice robe, slippers and disposable underwear. The changing room offers a shower, sink and blow dryer. Hot Moroccan tea is served after the massage. You are not rushed out which helps with the entire relaxing experience. The massage itself was perfection. Sana is an expert. She has worked at Azur for 6 years. She gives a deep soothing massage and includes hot stones for a thorough experience. Sana also gave me one of the most incredible facial massages I’ve ever experienced. I will return, along with my husband and you can count on me requesting Sana. Yes she’s THAT GOOD!! And so is AZUR ART & SPA! Thank you for a great afternoon.

The place is a must if you are in Essaouira. I called in after a day wandering around the Medina and was able to have a traditional hammam scrub straight away. It's so calming and peaceful and the staff were all very professional and friendly. The whole experience was very relaxing. The tea at the end was a lovely touch. Thank you for finding my earring that I had dropped while there.
