Spa Cocooning & Hammam

If you want a relaxing and professional spa experience, DO NOT COME HERE. You’ll almost certainly leave disappointed. This was, without question, the worst spa experience of our entire trip to Morocco. During our trip, we had hammam, facials, and massages in Marrakech, Fes, and Chefchaouen, and every single experience was excellent. The therapists were skilled, attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, Spa Cocooning & Hammam was the complete opposite. My girlfriend booked a facial, and I booked a massage. The therapist performing her facial seemed inexperienced. She didn’t even remove all of my girlfriend’s makeup. She skipped using a facial cleanser and went straight into the treatment. When it came to blackhead extraction, she didn’t properly prepare or open the pores first. Instead, she pressed so hard with the extraction tool that my girlfriend was in tears from the pain. What shocked us even more was that she spent more time massaging my girlfriend’s head than actually treating her face. After applying the mask, she disappeared for more than 30 minutes, leaving my girlfriend alone in the room. When she finally came back and removed the mask, there was still a visible ring of black mascara under both eyes. The makeup had never been properly cleaned off, which completely defeats the purpose of a facial. My massage wasn’t any better. Although it lasted the advertised time, it felt careless, mechanical, and unprofessional. There was no real technique or attention to detail, it simply felt like the therapist was waiting for the session to end. When we politely explained our concerns at reception, we expected at least an apology or some acknowledgment. Instead, we were repeatedly told that the treatments had lasted the correct amount of time. Time means nothing if the service is poor. We didn’t expect luxury, we expected basic professional standards. After several fantastic spa experiences across Morocco, this was the only place that left us feeling like we had completely wasted our money. Don’t make the same mistake we did. There are far better spas in Morocco. Save your money, save your time, and go somewhere else.

This is my second time coming here for a massage, and once again I’m really impressed with the quality of the service. Nadia is very professional, and Khadija is excellent as well. They both made me feel comfortable and provided a truly relaxing experience. The ladies work very hard and absolutely deserve a good tip. I think it’s a great way to show appreciation for their excellent service and encourage them to keep up the amazing work. Highly recommended!

Fantastic spa! I loved the place, and Kamar did an excellent job with my manicure. She was incredibly gentle, attentive, and took her time to make sure everything was perfect. At the end of the treatment, she gave me a lovely hand scrub and applied hand cream, which was a wonderful finishing touch. She also served me tea, a delicious pastry, and a bottle of water, making me feel very welcome from start to finish. I highly recommend this spa!

I get massage almost every week where ever I am in the world, the one I had at this place was pretty average. Negative points: 1) the hole on the massage for the face was not smelling great and the way the towel was organised was inconfortable... 2) when you are on your back for the massage, you don't get a pillow under your head so clearly not super comfortable. 3) ratio services/ prices not very good Positive points: 1) the place is clean 2) staff us discrete and friendly 3) you get a lemon grass tea and a little cake.

Booked a 1 hour hammam and massage here today. The experience from start to finish was phenomenal. I felt like time had stopped and I was transported a million miles away. Ahlam was the lady who did the Hammam part. She was attentive and considerate as she applied the scrub and the mud. I felt like I had shed 1 lb of dead skin cells. She washed my hair too and it was truly a top to toe experience. Then i saw Kaawthar who was my masseuse and her hands were truly magical. I would highly recommend this package. I will return home feeling revitalised and rejuvented. Thank you

We visited this hammam as a group of four. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by a very concerning issue with the safety of personal belongings. Before entering, I had 5 × €50 banknotes in my bag, 4 to pay for the treatment and one extra just in case. Our bags were placed in lockers, the key was kept in a robe that I didn’t fully control for the entire duration (hammam, shower, and massage). When I went to pay, one €50 note was missing. We checked the bag thoroughly, it was gone. After returning to our hotel and checking again, we came back to the salon to report the issue. The manager showed me the 4 banknotes I used for payment and suggested checking CCTV from the reception area. However, the money disappeared before payment, most likely in the locker/changing area where there is obviously no surveillance. I left my phone number expecting at least a follow-up or apology. I never heard back. The lack of basic security for clients’ belongings and the complete absence of proper follow-up is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others not to leave valuables here and to think twice before visiting.

The experience is really great. Rose petal hammam with Boruchia and Jamila's massage are good. The overall care is excellent
