I just returned from an incredible, whirlwind trip to Morocco—from the blue alleyways of Chefchaouen and the bustling souks of Marrakech to the vast Sahara Desert. My Google Photos app was an absolute lifesaver throughout the entire journey, and here’s why:

1. Unlimited, Instant Backup (& Peace of Mind):
Shooting hundreds of photos and videos daily between my phone and DSLR(via SD card import), I never once worried about losing a single memory. The automatic backup on Wi-Fi at our riad each night meant my shots of the sunrise over the dunes or the intricate tilework were safe, even if my phone got lost in the medina. This peace of mind is priceless.

2. "Memories" Feature is Pure Magic:
Google Photos automatically created stunning collages and short videos from my trip.Seeing a "Memory" pop up that perfectly blended my shots of vibrant spices, camel silhouettes, and the starry desert sky—all set to fitting music—brought the emotion of the trip right back. It’s like having a personal editor.

3. Powerful, Easy Search & Organization:
Trying to find that one specific photo of a doorway in Fes?Instead of scrolling endlessly, I simply searched "Morocco," "mosque," "tagine," or even "cat" (there are many!), and the AI found it instantly. It even recognized and grouped places like "Ben Youssef Madrasa" automatically. Organizing a trip of this scale would have taken hours; Photos did it for me.

Located on the scenic Ain Diab coastline in Casablanca, Morocco Mall is not just a shopping destination; it is a landmark of modern architectural beauty and luxury. Spanning over 20 hectares, it stands as one of the largest and most visually stunning shopping centers in Africa and the Middle East.
A Blend of Modernity and Nature
The beauty of Morocco Mall begins with its fluid architectural design. The building’s exterior features sleek, undulating lines that mimic the waves of the nearby Atlantic Ocean. This organic shape allows the massive structure to blend harmoniously with its coastal environment.
Inside, the mall is a masterpiece of light and space. Huge glass ceilings allow natural sunlight to flood the corridors, creating an airy, outdoor feel even while browsing indoors.
Key Aesthetic Highlights
The mall is famous for several "jewels" that contribute to its unique charm:
* The Aquadream: At the heart of the mall sits a massive cylindrical aquarium. It holds over a million liters of water and hundreds of marine species. Watching the vibrant sea life through the glass adds a serene, natural beauty to the bustling shopping atmosphere.

Morocco Mall is impressive in size and concept, but maintenance could clearly be improved. Several sections were closed during our visit, not all elevators were functioning, and there were broken floor tiles in different areas. Birds were nesting inside the mall, and during rainy weather we noticed water leakage on the upper floors in multiple spots.

While the mall remains a major attraction with many shops and restaurants, these issues affect comfort and the overall experience. Better upkeep and regular maintenance would significantly improve the visit and help the mall meet the standards expected from such a flagship location.

A bit far from the city. Went by public taxi for 8 dhs only. Such a 3 stories huge mall where you can find many shops, mainly brands, restaurants, cafes, ice cream corner and others. Just a wonderful dinner in the food court in floor 3.

The mall looks great after the renovation, especially with the new flooring. I hope they also take care of the elevators, bathrooms, and parking machines. It would be wonderful if they added a cinema similar to the old IMAX 3D.
