Terres Nomades

We entrusted the organization of our trek in the Siroua massif to Terres Nomades, and it was a successful experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived at Marrakech airport, the driver was there to meet us and took us to a simple, clean riad where everything was ready for our arrival. The organization was then impeccable: smooth logistics despite the stages in the wilderness, vehicles adapted to the tracks, and schedules respected, which is invaluable when you're going to the mountains. Our guide, Lahcen, knew the trails perfectly and was able to adapt the pace to the group, while ensuring our safety in sometimes challenging terrain. We would have liked him to share more information about the geology and local life; he was very pleasant, well-suited to the group's atmosphere, and had a good sense of humor, but was a little sparing with details. This was quickly forgotten thanks to his attentiveness to our every need and our comfort. The team of muleteers, discreet and efficient, set up and took down the bivouac with impressive speed. Special mention goes to Mohammed, the cook, who delighted us every day with hot and varied meals – quite an achievement when cooking in the mountains. The guesthouses we chose were authentic, clean, and comfortable, and the lunch breaks organized in the shade of oases or sheepfolds added to the charm of the adventure. Defining the objectives, desires, and fitness levels of the hikers from the outset might have allowed us to better calibrate the pace; for us, the rhythm was sometimes a little too leisurely, and the breaks came quickly, even if we eventually got used to it. Beyond these practical aspects, the experience was truly moving: breathtaking landscapes, welcoming Amazigh villages, authentic encounters, and above all, nights under a starry sky of rare clarity. The ascent of Jebel Siroua was a highlight, with flawless organization that allowed us to fully enjoy the spectacular view despite the windy weather. On the last day, in the rain, our guide quickened his pace for fear of missing the van, and we almost got separated. In the end, we all reunited and even arrived early; this rush was a little stressful, but it didn't detract from the overall success of the trip. In short, this agency combines logistical efficiency with a genuine passion for travel. If you're looking for a well-organized trek, led by attentive professionals, while experiencing powerful and authentic moments, we highly recommend them.

We traveled to Morocco with Terres Nomades in April. We explored part of the southern Atlas Mountains, as far as Erg Chebbi. We were a family of seven, ranging in age from 11 to 77, including two people with mobility issues. The agency and the very well-chosen local guides were incredibly accommodating, and we visited places where we were the only tourists. The landscapes were breathtaking, and the accommodations were typical and simple. The agency works around budgets and offers a variety of activities. We loved Morocco and the people we met there. We will gladly return to Morocco, and most likely with Terres Nomades again! 😉

My trip, planned and organized with Marie, perfectly matched what I wanted to do and see in Morocco. My family and I received a warm welcome at the various accommodations we chose. Our driver-guide for five days was very professional and skillfully managed our days, balancing activities, meals, and travel time. We highly recommend this exploration of the country for families who enjoy being active and seeing diverse landscapes in a single day.

We just completed the "Secret Berbers" tour offered by Terres Nomades. Once again, we were very satisfied with the program put together by Marie. The diversity of the landscapes and the warm welcome from our hosts and the locals perfectly reflect the spirit of Morocco. The visits to the agadirs (fortified granaries), the exploration of the Tiout palm groves, and the Ait Mansour gorges were truly special and peaceful moments. This was the fourth time we've used Terres Nomades for tours in Morocco, and we're already planning our next trip, which we're considering for September, with the team's helpful advice.

We just finished an enchanting stay in the Moroccan desert. Magnificent landscapes. And the entire team that accompanied us was lovely and incredibly helpful. - The camel drivers, Youssef and Youssef, were always very attentive to their camels, the camp, and the campfire. - A huge thank you to Mohamed, who cooks deliciously well with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Quite an achievement in the middle of the desert! - And a special shout-out to Mustapha, who was very professional, super friendly, and attentive to our little family. And of course, he knows the routes and the dunes like the back of his hand. I highly recommend him!
