Riad Zina Fes

The rooms were clean but the Riad was really hard to find . You will find yourself walking from alley to another alley. Not safe if you are group of females or travelling solo. The room was clean but was extremely cold (Dec) with no heatings and there was a smell of old wood all over the room. Wifi was really slow and not reachable when you move around the room.

Othmane is a very good host with sense of humour and always ready to support! We stayed in Riad Zina for four days where everything started very nice. Unfortunately we became a victim of lack of internal communication and had to pay an overpriced laundry appx. 18 EUR for a 3 kg wash. We were charged similar to a dry-laundry which was not so cool since the price should have been told in advance. Seemed like a typical rip off tactic ... Also another shock was that we were informed in the last minute that the city-tax was not included in the price which was not stated in airbnb at all. Usually city-tax is included in airbnb prices and if not, it must be stated in the additional costs!!! We didnt have dirhams in our pockets and had to rush to change office in the last minute which caused us to miss our train to Marrakesh and ruined our whole day! Overall, very kind people but be cautious about communication.

Terrible! Don't go there! The location is terrible, in the middle of dark, stinking, closed streets. The Riad has no windows, the rooms are dark and musty, and they're dirty. They never clean them. The owners try to inflate the prices. Definitely avoid it. There are excellent reviews, but in the end, they ask you to do it. They charged us 60 euros for the room instead of 30 euros as advertised. A truly terrible experience, and they also don't pay much attention to customer service.

Mohammed is a truly superb host. He arranged a taxi for us even though we were 1.5 hours late arriving. He even got us dinner at 10 p.m. Breakfast was delicious, and the ladies who arranged it were incredibly kind. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. Definitely worth a return visit.

Very bad experience. Reception staff unreachable. The riad wasn't signposted in the labyrinthine medina of Fez. No air conditioning or ventilation (as advertised on Booking.com), suffocating temperature in the room: impossible to sleep... NO SOAP!! COVID pandemic... AVOID

Very disappointing; with the crisis, it's impossible to travel to Morocco. We paid for our stay. For a year now, it's been impossible to contact the hotel; no one answers calls or messages… What a disappointment!

Highly recommended for its location (in the old Medina), it's a very charming riad, and the staff are super welcoming and smiling! I would gladly stay here again.

We had a great time! Very comfortable bed, good breakfast. Friendly staff. A little difficult to get to if you don't have internet.
