RIAD MAZAR FES

Fantastic service by the hosts! They called taxis for us, helped us with our luggage, brought us tea when we checked in and were there for any questions we had! Highly recommend!!! The rooms were clean and beautiful!

Riad is even more beautiful than what it looks like on photos. Everything inside of this riad is handmade by people living in Fes. Location is amazing and it is few minutes far from famous Blue Gate. Siham was very helpful, we reserved small room but when we arrived she offered us a big rooom with amazing look on inside of riad which was free. Breakfast was delicious and right on time. Guy working at reception was very friendly. Thank you for your hospitality 😄

Beautifully restored Riad, minutes from the Blue Gates of the medina. Exquisite carpentry and plaster work throughout give this riad a stunning appearance. I cannot say enough about the host, Siham who helped arrange things before and during our stay. If arriving at the train station, I highly recommend having the Riad arrange transport (5€), as the drivers know where the riad is and you do not need to haggle with cab drivers at the station. Siham also arranged a half day tour of the medina. I am relatively well travelled and adventurous when it comes to new places, but without the tour, the medina would have been a completely different experience, and far less efficient at that. Tour price is set by the government (250 Dh for a half day), so no worries about over paying. Rooms were clean, WiFi worked well, TV in each room but no cable, breakfast was traditional Moroccan. Great experience at Mazar Fes, would highly recommend, particularly because of Siham.

Had wonderful stay at Riad Mazar in Fes. Very very friendly staff, very nice rooms, location is soooo good, bit noise around it but still close to everything. Seham and Yasine were very helpful and they were ready with anything we needed. I strongly recommend this place if you visit Fez.

NO - we arrived, and Siham was lovely until disaster struck. There were fleas/pets EVERYWHERE in the riad. When we realized this (after 10 minutes), we left apologizing (even though it was in no way our fault), and Siham refuses to refund us because she claims we checked in. We didn't sleep, eat, or shower, but she refuses to reimburse us. I don't recommend it, even though we were initially delighted by the welcome and the visual appeal of the riad.
