Riad Le Petit Joyau

By far my favourite place that I stayed at. The entire Riad is beautiful and very clean. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate my girlfriend and I with everything that we needed. Breakfast was included. We were served the typical Moroccan breakfast with all the trimmings. My room was so nice and cozy. I could have slept in the bed all day long. My only regret about this place is not booking additional days

The Riad Le Petit Joyau is a Jewel, a Hidden Gem in the heart of Marrakesh! This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed at! The managers and the staff are wonderful, professional, good spirit and always extremely pleasant! The location is exceptional and safe, in the best area of La Medina, close to Les Tombeaux Saadiens and 5 min walk from la Place Jamaa el Fna. It is super well located, but at the same time away from the chaos of Medina (it really feels like Heaven). The space is marvelous, the interiors are beautiful, with care gone into everything (each part of the Riad is studied and beautifully designed, with beautiful pictures, Moroccan Lamps, the carlage and the ceramics - just outstanding). I fell in love with my room, which is super well decorated, magic, comfortable, big and clean (with local free toiletries - especially the bath soap with a beautiful smell). I also really loved the plastic free and the fact they take care of the environment. In the morning it was lovely to be awaken by the joyful little birds in the patio. Hamza and his team are just exceptional, wonderful, always available, shining and cheerful- they make you feel right at home. The outstanding breakfast prepared by Nadia and Zineb every morning in the beautiful and sunny terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful view of Marrakesh and the storks. Breakfast is made by fresh and local products (Moroccan pancakes, delicious bread, fresh fruits, tea and coffee etc) and it changes every day. I also had the best dinner at the Riad (Moroccan Salad and Chicken Tagine were delicious). Also WIFI works perfectly! Hamza and Mohammed gave me the best recommendations where to eat, explore and do a traditional hammam! Also Hamza was extremely attentive and kind to accomodate my requests and change my travel plans (THANK YOU)! Wish I could have stayed longer! No words can justify my gratitude! Can't wait to come back again (Inshallah) and Shukran and thank you so much again!

This Riad is located in the Kasbah near the tombs and Royal Palace about a 12 min walk to the Marrakech Medina. It is quiet, amazingly clean and beautiful. There is a plunge pool and rooftop breakfast is substantial. They will make dinner for you if requested in advance. Have Hamza forward you a video of walking directions from the Moulay el Yazid Mosque. Fantastic! Loved my stay and when I return I will book here again. Plan ahead! They are often at capacity

This riad truly lives up to its name: It's a little gem right in the heart of Marrakech ❤️ We spent our 10-day vacation there and were absolutely thrilled. The location is perfect; the old Kasbah district is a beautiful area, quieter than the Medina itself, and therefore ideally situated, especially if you prefer a peaceful night's sleep and need a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The street is just a two-minute walk away, so the taxi pick-up point (for excursions, airport transfers, etc.) isn't far. The nearest well-stocked shop (BIM) is only a 5-minute walk, and Djemaa el-Fna, the large, legendary central square with its many souks, is just a 10-minute walk. The riad itself is beautiful; the photos speak for themselves and are by no means an exaggeration—a little paradise in an unassuming setting 🌴. There's a small pool in the courtyard, which makes the sometimes very hot days more pleasant. Upstairs, a beautifully designed rooftop terrace awaits, where breakfast (and optional dinner, etc.) is served, and there's always a chill-out area – Flash and his buddy, the two adorable tortoises, also live here 🐢 😍 Breakfast is excellent and typically Moroccan, with several options to choose from, including freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries, scrambled eggs, the finest olives, and many other delicacies, plus coffee and, of course, mint tea 🍵🍃 The room service is also outstanding; everything is spotless, the cleaning is impeccable, and you feel hygienically comfortable 👍🏼 Thank you to the lovely ladies who took care of it every day 🫶🏽 Now for the highlight – because in addition to the petit Joyau, there's also a très grand Joyau, and it's called AYOUB! ❤️ He was our "angel" throughout our entire vacation, anticipating our every need, reliably taking care of everything, organizing, managing, and always readily available whenever we had a request, needed information, tours, taxis, massage appointments, restaurant reservations, or anything else. The riad was beautiful, the location was fantastic, everything was great—but dear Ayoub was what made our vacation so special and unique. A huge thank you and much appreciation to him—and I hope the owner of the riad realizes what a gem he has in Ayoub 💎. Many hotels would give anything to have such an employee. We had a wonderful stay at Riad Le Petit Joyau. Everything was perfect. We felt right at home. The breakfast was delicious, the premises and rooms were very clean, the staff were incredibly attentive, and the location was ideal. The riad can organize excursions or simply provide excellent advice on outings, restaurants, etc. We also had the opportunity to dine at the riad on their magnificent rooftop terrace. Superb experience. The riad was very clean and the staff attentive. Breakfasts were generous and varied. Excursions were a bit pricey but excellent (punctuality, information, vehicle comfort, etc.). The location is perfect, offering a balance between tranquility and proximity to the souks and other attractions in Marrakech. Highly recommended!

Extremely friendly staff, everyone always smiling and willing to help. Perfect breakfast, perfect place, perfect wifi, perfect terrace, perfect room, huge and clean bathroom. Cleanliness every day. Extremely clean and comfortable. I would have stayed there every day if it were up to me. We ordered dinner from them, and it was delicious, I highly recommend it. And please stay several days to enjoy everything this place has to offer. A big hug to the amazing team and to the baby turtle that kept us company every day at breakfast.
