This is the most beautiful Riad in Marrakesh. The rooms were exquisite. We had the Royal Suite and had accommodations in different rooms for our guests. All of them were lovely. The service was 5 star. The staff is warm and accommodating. The owner Mohammad , is the consummate host. The Riad is his old family residence and he makes you feel like a guest in his home. Do not miss the opportunity to visit his private museum. Very interesting. Inside the walls of the old city, you walk out right into vibrancy of this wonderful city. We felt safe, welcomed and exhilarated! We will come back again and again.
This place is so beautiful and such a pleasure to stay at. I really like the location, in the middle of it all. The breakfast on the rooftop is divine, my favourite part was the home made yoghurt and honey. I’ve no idea how I’ll live without that now! We loved sitting upstairs for sunset with a drink and a book - there is no better way to spend your time. The cleaning staff did such a fab job of looking after our room, and there was one particular waiter/porter who was really lovely - can’t remember his name but he was very tall and had a lovely smile. The owner also showed us round his gallery across the way which is absolutely worth seeing - so many beautiful treasures. Honestly couldn’t recommend this place more. Apparently they serve an amazing dinner too but we weren’t here long so didn’t have dinner in the hotel.
A fabulous hotel located within the Marrakech Medina. Very quiet and relaxing with superlative customer service. The rooftop has several cabanas and is perfect for breakfast or for relaxing in the evening. Truly a memorable property.
Wonderful, just wonderful! The staff, the service, the architecture were just amazing. This place is located next to a busy local street however you can taste te real culture of Marrakesh. It’s near a lot of tourist attractions. The only thing I can maybe recommend is that they can exceed their dinner menu. I also want to thank the housekeepers for doing an excellent job, they were amazing. Thank you all for making my trip even better
Riad Kniza is great, I would thoroughly recommend it but just a couple of things have knocked it down to 4 stars in my book. The location is great, on the edge of the old Medina. As with all Riads, an oasis behind an anonymous door in the wall. The owner is often around checking on the guests well-being, which is really nice. On arrival we did the formalities and then had to wait (too long) to be shown to the room. We had booked dinner, which was amazing - far far too much, but an experience and the waiters were a delight. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace, but we had not be told that upon check in. It didn't seem that well organised, tables were not laid in advance. A good breakfast, but no choice - I find a fried egg served on it's own a bit weird. Booked a guide through hotel was great. Hammam was great. Shame no couples massage. Also could do with the ability to order a drink on the roof terrace. We had a Senior Suite which was an amazing room, although a little noisy as it backed on the the Alley. A really good experience.
Loved Riad Kniza. Very zen place in the middle of the chaos of Marrakesh. The staff were extremely hospitable and helpful. We stayed there 3 nights during our time in Marrakesh. There is a pool, hamam and rooftop. We didn't eat dinner there but they have live music in the evenings for people dining there. The breakfasts were over the top abundant and delicious. If I'm being picky, the bed was a little too hard. It's very easy to get to from the Bab Doukkala gate. Highly recommend.
My husband and I had the most amazing experience at Riad Kniza for our honeymoon. The service was attentive and overall fantastic, the rooms were quiet despite being booked full (as far as we know), and everything was gorgeous. We would love to stay again it we were to come back.
BOOK THIS RIAD. 10/10. If you are looking around for options, do yourself a huge favor and go with Riad Kniza. Just got back a few days ago after almost 6 days here and I miss the staff more than the city/country itself. If you want to live in palace and feel as if you're with family, then book it. Service, Food, Beauty & Location. 1. Service is probably the best I've ever experienced in the world and that's coming from staying at the Ritz in Mumbai. Abdul and Bushra at the front desk are super sweet. Bushra helped us book all excursions. I worked with them the most at the front desk but everyone is so warm. The servers Hasan and Hischam felt like family and was so sad when we had to say bye to them. The hammam/spa staff is so sweet as well. The owner for taking the extra step to talk to us, give us a tour of his museum and even educate us on the local art/history. Anything we needed the staff helped us immediately. 2. The food here is AMAZING. Eat at the restaurant here at least your first or last night. Compared to other places in the city I kept craving the food here especially the vegetable soup and lamb tagine. 3. It is breathtaking and you feel as if you are living in a palace. The owner has his own museum/art gallery across from the riad and you can see how much time his family has put to ensure this place is in good shape and every attention to detail is remarkable. 4. Location is so close to the Medina and walking distance to the popular rooftop bars Kabana and Le Fenn. Also, other places.
