Riad Amaris

Very nice option to explore Rabat. It is in the medina, a short walk from a convenient car park and not far from the kasbah. Rooms are very stylish, very Moroccan with all comforts. Service is very good and breakfast to the highest standard. Rooms are on two levels. Bathrooms spectacular.

We had an amazing time staying at Riad Amaris. This place is very clean and the location is great as it is close to a lot of attractions so we were able to walk to many places. The staff is very kind and helpful, and Samiya was a great host who helped us with many things. The breakfast here was really good and the portions were very generous. Riad Amaris is a beautiful place to stay, the interior colours just work so well together. Although there is no spa, the terrace, exceptional customer service and calm atmosphere made up for it. The hostess Samea was extremely helpful and went above and beyond the service you normally expect and the workers were also good too. She called up businesses on our behalf when needed and gave all the drinks we ordered throughout the week free on the house, which surprised us. The double accessible room with the private bathroom was unique and different to any we experienced before! It has a sofa and large coffee table on one side and bathroom and shower room on the other side of the bottom floor section and then in a somewhat open plan style in the middle of the room were some stairs unwinding up to the bedroom, which felt like an organised separation. Despite this, everything is still together in one high ceiling room which is a good concept for a holiday. The room was clean and comfortable to lounge around in. There was a mint tea and water given on arrival. A fan is provided in the room. After many days of exploring, it was a calm oasis and the design and architecture is relaxing for the mind. Breakfast is not the conventional Continental Buffet style found in international hotel chains but you get delivered a Moroccan style breakfast as standard on the roof terrace. The mint tea was very good and a strong one and they do a good soft omelette and a Moroccan sweet crispy pastry. I would recommend Riad Amaris if you want a peaceful, beautiful Riad in a quiet road and good location, in the middle of different hotspots like the Bab el Had square, Kasbah des Oudayas and beach and Hassan Tower.

A beautiful Riad situated in the middle of all the spots to visit in Rabat as well as the tram and train station. The staff especially the hostess Samiya were so helpful and made us feel at home after a day of exploring. We loved the room with the bedroom being separated by a set stairs which added a great feature to the room. A lovely fresh Moroccon breakfast served every morning too and the Moroccon tea was probably the best I’ve had. Would definitely recommend when visiting Rabat

A great place in the edge of the Medina in Rabat, in a quiet treet. All staff is extremly nice and helpful, the Riad and decoration is splendid. Prices are very decent.

It was the fifth riad on our tour, meaning we had some experience and knew that smells and sounds travel more easily. The Amaris is bright and welcoming, the rooms are tastefully decorated and well-lit (we've stayed in other rooms), and the breakfast is the highlight. No pre-packaged jams or processed cheese, but rather loose items served in jars. We could even choose how our eggs were prepared.

Located on the edge of the medina in a side street, it's very quiet with hardly any outside noise. The ambiance is lovely, with tastefully coordinated accessories. The courtyard is also used for the served breakfast. A rooftop terrace with sun protection is available. The staff is very nice and friendly.

It's almost a 5! A very beautiful riad with richly detailed interiors, and good service. There was a problem with hot water throughout the riad, which perhaps could have been resolved more quickly, but it took over 10 hours to resolve it, right on New Year's Eve. Despite this, the owner of the riad apologized at checkout, but didn't ask us for tourist taxes—excellent host behavior!
