I don't even know where to begin. The filth, the final price higher than the Booking.com reservation with a cash payment requested upon arrival (presumably to prevent an early departure), the cockroaches that had to be squashed in the middle of the night, the dilapidated state of the place, the lack of housekeeping staff, damp towels not changed, the bed not made between nights, the breakfast cancellation that wasn't refunded, the dirty pool (leaves, feathers, pigeon droppings...), half the lights not working, and I had to fix the leaking shower head as soon as I arrived. In short, a series of small details that ruin enormous potential. The place could be magnificent if it were maintained and the staff a little friendlier. There were a few positive points, though: the location, the air conditioning (old but functional) in the room, and the charm of Morocco, but otherwise, a huge disappointment that leaves a truly bitter taste. One thing is for sure: we won't be back and we won't recommend it.

Arriving in July with temperatures nearing 50 degrees Celsius, no refreshments were offered in the evening, and there was no way to get tea or anything cold. Too many things need improvement, cleanliness and more. In short, European tourists are quickly lulled to sleep with a tagine and given 5 stars. No, it's awful.

What a shame! Just ask for a thorough cleaning and a refresh. Otherwise, it could be considered a rip-off. The place is far from pleasant! However, the welcome was very good, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

A wonderful encounter with our hosts. A beautiful place for a family stay in the heart of the medina, the royal quarter.
