Mizaan

First meal in Marrakech and the food and service were both exceptional. These are like small plates to share and were all very tasty. Chocolate Harissa was a must try. The girls and the boy Mehdi was very attentive to us even though the restaurant was supet busy which we were super grateful. Thank you very much again. If I point out just one improvement, maybe it's about the restaurant ventilation. I am a smoker as well but I feel like it is a bit too hot inside.

MIZAAN – THE PERFECT FINALE On the last evening of our three-week journey through Morocco, we saved the best for last. And what a finale it was. Just outside the Medina, Mizaan feels like a little world of its own. Beautiful, considered and effortlessly stylish. From the interior and table decorations to the cups, plates and even the menu design, everything feels perfectly in tune. Not a detail out of place, not a note too much. Someone here clearly has an eye for the bigger picture. The service? Attentive, knowledgeable and always delivered with a smile. The kind that makes you feel genuinely welcome without ever hovering. And then there was the food. Mmmmmhhh. Cauliflower tempura, beetroot hummus, a simply phenomenal Beef Wellington-style dish, and a monkfish curry that was nothing short of sensational. Every dish had us wishing we had ordered just a little more. Or perhaps booked another evening. We’ve eaten our way through Morocco for three weeks, and Mizaan was hands down our favourite meal in Marrakech. If you’re looking for a restaurant that gets everything right — food, atmosphere, design and hospitality — put Mizaan on your list. A clear recommendation. The food was so delicious and definitely lived up to the high rating!! Our server Simon was also excellent! Highly recommend the chocolate mousse ☺️

I honestly don't understand why this restaurant has so many positive reviews - they might very well be fake. Aside from me, there was only one other couple in the entire place. I ordered a salad and the fish kefta. The food arrived suspiciously fast, clearly pre-made. It didn’t taste particularly fresh and was way too salty. While the presentation was nice, the taste was completely unremarkable. Not terrible, but not good either, and definitely overpriced for this level of quality. The staff was polite and came over several times to ask if I liked the food. I honestly told them no—the only thing that tasted good was the bread. Their response? "That's impossible, you can't be serious." Well, I am serious. In all seriousness, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

My sister and I dined at Mizaan while staying in Marrakech and we had a wonderful experience! Our server Zridi was very friendly. He explained the menu, answered questions we had and gave us lots of time to decide what we wanted. He also advised us to mix one of our dishes to enhance the flavour, which we appreciated. And when he spotted us taking pics of our food, he kindly offered to take some pics of us and the dishes which was lovely. All of the staff here were very attentive. They immediately noticed when we had empty dishes and removed them for us. We felt very well taken care of. And the food was delicious! The sharing plates were perfect portions for us and had so much flavour! Would definitely go again and 100% recommend.
