Mimi Calpe is a real gem. It is an oasis of calm in the busy center of Tangier. We stayed two nights in the Garden Suite, then two nights in the Eugenie Room. They were both lovely. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and I had a very nice massage. The staff were kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. There is also a very cute swimming pool and some cute tortoises. I highly recommend a stay here! It was a little hard to find but the google maps location is correct; on arrival simply ring the intercom and someone will let you in. Some people have mentioned in their reviews that the Garden Suite was very noisy… While our nights there were louder than the others due to the windows overlooking the street, it was not a problem with the shutters closed and the view of the street was quite nice to have.

This hotel is absolutely incredible. The gardens are stunning and feels like an oasis in the middle of the city. I love all the character of the rooms, the gardens and breakfast every morning! The food/drinks were delicious and the service was wonderful, everyone was so kind and helpful. The only downside was that wifi didn’t quite reach our room which was in the back corner of the property (good and bad!) - However, still 5/5 stars and would absolutely go there again.

A tranquil oasis Stylish but homely Friendly and accommodating … are some of the top ways I would describe Mimi Calpe. We loved our time here. Once through the front gate, you find yourself in a secret garden of calm, away from the hustle and bustle on the street. The team were wonderful, making us feel very welcome. Often, communal spaces in hotels tend to be underused but here, in the main living/dining room we felt instantly at home and spent many hours during our stay enjoying this lovely space. It was a great place to work from too. The onsite hamam was a real bonus!

The Villa is even more magical in person than what I had imagined after viewing photos online. Walking through the doors felt as if I was stepping back in time into a peaceful garden oasis. But what really made the stay special was the outstanding hospitality of each person who welcomed me there. A million thanks, I cannot wait to visit again and would recommend Mimi Calpe to everyone.

Stayed at Mimi for 2 nights and then a much more expensive option for another 2 and I have to say Mimi was our favorite! My partner and I preferred the casual “bed and breakfast” environment. The room was spacious, bathroom was big with a tub, and we loved being huged by nature during breakfast and our pool time. This is perfect place for people who want to just chill and enjoy each others company, reading…weak WiFi and no TV in rooms so not ideal for tech reliant people

Vacation with my daughter Excellent location and friendly, efficient staff. Romantic room, without any particular luxuries. (I missed a bedside light for reading.) It's fine for a day or two.

This tiered property is the only one with beautiful, lush, shaded gardens in the Medina, which is wonderful to retreat to after a day of exploring. All the staff were so gracious and welcoming in this period estate; we felt like family. I was looking forward to exploring the local restaurants, but the Chef and Sioux Chef were so good at Mimi Calpe, we dined in most of our nights. The 3-course menu is a wonderful mix of Moroccan and French, serving soup, tagine (the best lamb—ever) and crème brûlée. Breakfasts are included and are plentiful and delicious. Mimi Calpe is such a delight. We were very well cared for and will return.
