My experience with Bar Z ended before it even began. I called to make a reservation. As a Moroccan, I naturally started speaking in Darija, but the host refused to communicate in Darija or Arabic and insisted on speaking only French. I then politely asked if we could continue in English, which I speak fluently, but that was also refused. Before I had the opportunity to explain further, the call was abruptly ended. I have traveled to more than 20 countries, and I have never experienced anything like this. I have always believed that hospitality starts with making people feel welcome and respected, regardless of the language they speak. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed, embarrassed, and genuinely unwelcome in my own country. What disappointed me most was not the language itself—it was the attitude. A respectful conversation and a willingness to help would have made all the difference. Instead, I was spoken to in a way that made me feel as though my presence and my business were not valued. Because of this experience, I decided not to visit the restaurant. I will also share my experience honestly with my friends and colleagues in Europe and the United States, as I believe people should know what to expect before choosing where to dine. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and reminds its staff that true hospitality begins with respect, courtesy, and making every guest feel welcome from the very first interaction. This version is firm, credible, and focused on your experience, which generally makes a review more persuasive.

Had a fantastic dining experience here! The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish beautifully presented and full of flavour. The cheese and cured meat board was a real highlight, and the baked dish was cooked to perfection. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere was amazing too—relaxed, cosy, and perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family. Highly recommend if you're looking for great food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Great spot. They always had a table available whenever we decided to come over here. The food is great, beer is good as well, and the staff speaks both French and English which is a plus. They’re very accommodating and nice, highly recommended.

The food was fantastic. I got the pork ribs and chocolate fondant! Exceptional. Very unexpected. The drinks were also strong and very cheap! Highly recommend. I can't mid day so it was chill but busy. Maybe at night it's busier.
