La Ola Rooftop

It is a shame to see a good restaurant ruined by awful service. Last night, our waiter crossed the line. He was unpleasant, incompetent, and aggressive, even threatening to look for us outside after his shift. As regular customers, we wasn’t expecting this since it never happened before , throwing hands ? Really ? It’s a serious safety issue and unprofessional behavior coming from a waiter

Great for an afterwork break. Makes you feel like you’re on vacation. At night it’s party vibes with different themes (karaoke, DJs on decks, Jam sessions) The food is delicious, the service is great. Couldn’t ask for more tbh. My fav place in town.

Bad experience – Not recommended I’ve been bringing my Couchsurfing groups to La Ola Rooftop for over two years, supporting the place and introducing it to many travelers. Yesterday, I was shocked by the disrespect I received. I came with my American girlfriend, and a man sitting with Ghita (the manager) followed her when she went to the bathroom. When I confronted him, things escalated, and suddenly I wasn’t allowed in—simply because Ghita didn't like that I stood up to her friend. This is no way to treat people, especially loyal clients. There’s also an older man who works there—extremely rude, with no sense of hospitality. This place clearly doesn’t value respect or professionalism. I’ll make sure to recommend my international friends and Couchsurfing community to avoid this spot. Casablanca has plenty of better rooftops where you’ll be welcomed, not disrespected.

Sunset looks nice from there and also at night with lights and all it looks so calm especially with the music and fun people there. Caesar salad was soooooo good, but not seafood salad :( but overall food is pass. Service is a bit messy but acceptable, all the waiters and all staff were friendly. Drinks are a bit overpriced tbh but overall its a good experience i will come back again for sure.

Lunch at La Ola was great. The salmon was perfectly cooked and tasted very fresh. The shrimp and avocado salad was absolutely fantastic, definitely recommend. The service was a little slow but they were nice. I asked for the drink menu thinking I’d get a hot/cold drink menu, but received a menu for alcohol! Didn’t expect that. If you want a cocktail I found the place. Overall would recommend and would come back for dinner.
