Riad Mimouna

From the hotel terrace and from some of the rooms, you have a beautiful view of the sea. However, the amenities and service could be improved. The staff is friendly but either incompetent or unwilling. They could neither provide information about bus connections to Agadir, nor were they able to bring the missing remote control during a three-day stay. The room and bathroom are heated by a single electric heater. The fixtures and other amenities are urgently in need of renewal. The room cost around 150 euros per night, after all. It's a shame that such a property in this location cannot be managed better.

We came here for lunch - just by accident, hoping it would have a good view of the ocean and OH WHAT A GREAT FIND!! Absolutely astounding views over the ocean and the town of Essaouira. But equally: wonderfully friendly service and superb food! We returned frequently, especially as we discovered we could watch the sun set from their outdoor terrace! We loved it here so much, we booked two nights ao we could sleep out over the ocean, listening to the waves roar and sigh. So beautiful!

Nice place to stay for a short break. Excellent location in the Medina. Breakfast with a view over the sea and a good terrace.

Undoubtedly the finest Riad in Essaouria. The most stunning sea views (well worth the upgrade - trust me) and the location in the old city is perfect for exploring. The staff are wonderful. Breakfast is okay but not dazzling but otherwise such an amazing experience. We have stayed here several times and love it.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was a bit of a walk in but we git to see the Medina along the way. Lots of eating options close by. I opened our window in the morning and the sea breeze was wonderful. Lied in bed listening to the waves crash on the rocks below, the seagulls canning and the fresh sea air. I'd definitely stay here again 👌👌

Riad Mimouna was perhaps one of the best riads we stayed in on our 2-week trip. The location is simply perfect, quiet but very close to of the restaurants and shops, directly by the sea. The roof terrace is the best place to view the sea and relax. The breakfast was good, but nothing really special. The only negative is that the door outside leading to the beautiful beach is locked and the only access their is through the port. Nevertheless, this place is highly recommended.

I came here with a larger student group and the staff was always caring and helpful to us. I had great conversations in my very basic Darija with the super cool doorman. Amazing view from my room as well as beautiful stars from the roof. 5/5.

This is my first visit to Morocco and we chose the Riad Mimouna , it’s absolutely fantastic!! I could not recommend this place enough. The room was so well decorated and very Moroccan style, the roof top terrace is amazing and so good to sit out on in the evenings. There is a section to go inside if it’s a bit cold and the the restaurant is also all up top. We ate at the restaurant a few times and it really didn’t disappoint, great views , great food and fantastic service. The price is really good for the meals and drinks so with that view we didn’t want to go anywhere else for dinner. The service from every staff member was amazing and they all came across friendly and helpful. They have staff to help you get your bags from the hotel to your taxi etc as you cannot drive upto the hotel , for a small tip of course. A brilliant trip and mainly thanks for the Riad Mimouna !
