I only stayed one night without using the restaurant. The hotel was convenient for the event I was attending that day. It has convenient parking. The receptionist who checked me in explained everything meticulously and perfectly. As for the rooms, they could use some improvements, especially the entire toilet, shower, and sink, and the cleanliness of even the smallest details, like the lights above the sink. As for the bedroom, the bed was very comfortable. Outlets on the sides of the bed would be helpful, and the bedside lamp, like its electrical outlet, would need to be raised or moved. Otherwise, it's well-soundproofed and pleasant (perhaps a timer for the minibar could be used to prevent it from running at night, as it's a bit of a nuisance). Overall, a very positive rating.
Negative review of the Hotel Ristorante Eridano: I was very disappointed with my stay at the Hotel Ristorante Eridano. The sign shows 4 stars, but they should be replaced with 4 paws. The rooms are neglected, with mold in the shower and a showerhead encrusted with limescale, causing water to leak out the sides. The room, especially the bathroom, is equipped with very comfortable extras: 1. The hairdryer has a 40-second runtime, after which it overheats and won't turn on again for at least 10 minutes. 2. The bathroom light is connected to a very sophisticated timer relay, which, if you decide to use the bathroom and then shower immediately afterward without pressing the button again, would leave you in the dark and covered in soapy water under the shower. The worst thing is the cleanliness, which is very precarious: I found hair, dust, and dead bedbugs in the room. In conclusion, courtesy is not a given at the Eridano Hotel, and after my repeated complaints, the manager decided to offer a €10 discount on a total spend of €900. Ultimately, if you're in the area, run away.
Very nice room. All the staff are very friendly, but there's a slight lack of organization in the service.
The hotel caters primarily to business travelers rather than tourists. The room was clean but not overly so, and the furnishings were modern. The TV reception wasn't very good, but could that be a problem with the location or the system? The receptionist was friendly. The hotel offers a gourmet restaurant and a pizzeria, and I dined at the latter. I probably guessed the bad night; the dining room was decidedly cold, with only one waitress on duty. The pizza selection was very limited; there were almost more beers than pizzas, which turned out to be less than delicious. Furthermore, to get down to the pizzeria, you have to go through the garages, where the sign for the pizzeria wasn't at all clear. Let's draw a veil over the breakfast, which was also served at the pizzeria, with only one waiter and a very poor selection. There were no cutlery or napkins on the service table; I had to ask for a knife to spread jam on my toast. I tried to make do with the 10x10 napkin I had at the table so as not to have to call the waiter again. I went down around 7:50 and the croissants were finished, just one vegan and one plain, in addition to the jam and the rusks, only a variegated cake that certainly didn't make you want it.
I was passing through the area for work and stopped for dinner on a Friday evening. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant, the pizza was amazing, and I was struck by the kindness and professionalism of the staff. I especially remember one girl with glasses, very pretty, who struck me with her smile and her presence, never intrusive but always ready. There you go, when you feel comfortable, that's already a reason to return.
The restaurant is without a doubt the best in the southern Milan/Oltrepò area, and I'd dare say Lomellina. Rigels's chef is top-notch, and the staff is equally excellent.
Found through Groupon, perfect indoor covered parking, very friendly staff, very nice suite and excellent restaurant too, will return if we ever find ourselves in this area again
THE PHOTOS ON GMAPS ARE OUTDATED AND ARE FROM THE PERIOD WHEN THE PROPERTY WAS CLOSED FOR RENOVATION! Why did I like this hotel so much? A little background: I've been traveling around the world for 13 years and am very picky about the hotels I stay in. I was completely satisfied with this property because: - The rooms are large and spotlessly clean - The property was recently renovated with energy savings and the environment in mind (LED lights, home automation control of the air conditioning system, etc.) - The attached restaurant serves excellent fish and meat, even the fixed-price menu (and the portions are generous) - The reception and dining room staff are polite, friendly, and extremely helpful - Wired internet access in all rooms and Wi-Fi - Large covered parking lot - Reasonable prices In short, it seems like the ideal property for those passing through for work, whether they are workers (who will receive above-average service) or executives (who won't be disappointed despite the hotel being "only" a 3-star hotel). A heartfelt thanks to all the staff who helped me feel a little less far from the comforts of home.
